I just picked up a new prescription for my methylphenidate and it looks different than normal. I suspect its just a different brand but can't find anything online. Its a small yellow tablet with L indented (not printed) on one side and nothing on the other. Its supposed to be 20mg. Any ideas?

Which drug store are they from?
I'm not finding any listing for a Methylphenidate tablet with just an L on it.
The FDA classifies this medication as being a stimulant that's most commonly used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, nervousness, insomnia, weight loss and anorexia.
Is anyone else familiar with this tablet?
