MY son was taking Dexedrine but they stop getting that pill went bk to the doctor he prescribe zenzedi 10 mg pharmacy filled with a generic named Dextroamphet which is a generic of Adderall ,my son was on Adderall at one time complained of chest pains and the drug was changed immed. when I looked up the generic name of zenzedi it stated Dextroamphetmine was the drug to use not dextroamphet the diff. in mixes of the drug.Is this the right drug for my son? ## Hello, Yappie! Cant understand why my pharmacy always gave me pink round 30mg adderall and now they are peach with u31 on one side and x on back, what is the different pros or cons to the difference ## Hello, April! How are you? The generic a pharmacy carries may change, depending on what company was offering the cheapest price, when they needed to restock their supply. It's how they help keep prices down for people that don't have prescription insurance. The FDA warns that Adderall carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, nervousness and anorexia. It seems in the last 2 years, after Barr sold out to TEVA, that their adderall products went down hill....and fast. I remember when Barr Adderall 30mg IR was, in my opinion, the best.. Now....here is what I am experiencing: An immediate "boost" of the drug into my system, lasting only about 90min, followed by a rapid come-down. This was NOT the case before Teva took over Barr. Concerning Corepharma: take it if you like sugar pills. Concerning Sandoz: weak, but better concerning the rapid "up" and "down" Remember the FDA's +- 20% And also remember that the FDA "takes the generic company's word" so to speak with respect to bio-equivalence testing. If I'm prescribed adderall 15mg twice a day but have been taking it 3 times a day and they test for the level of the drug in my urine will I fail? ## I'm pretty sure you'll be fine. They only test to make sure you're taking the medication and not selling it or whatever.

Are there any dangerous drug interactions if the two are taken together? ## Mixing is not a very a good idea... But from experience Koloipin Is the best thing have when coming down.. Right before you finally go to sleep after your 57 hour weekend. It helps curve the "hang over" As I'm no doctor I have clue if this could cause any serious issues in the future... I just speak from experience.... MY DOCTOR ORDER FOR ME PAN-D. IHAVE HIGH PROTEIN IN URINE, KIDNEYS PROBLEM, I FEEL PAIN IN MY STOMACH, DRY MOUTH AND TASTE CHANGED. I took at drug test at TASC on the 18th of August and then i took a second hair follicle test at PSI on the 8th of September to prove that my prescriptions made my first test inaccurate. The results will shock you. My second test stated 1,741 my first test done at TASC run by CPS stated 91,746. OMG is right. Case manager asked me "why are you doing a second hair follicle test if the numbers are going to be the same?" I told her they were to prove that my prescriptions had a negative impact on my first test. Spoke with a lab technician, he said there is no way my number could go from the 90,000 to almost 2000 in only 20 days. I am prescribed 30 MG of Adderall a day. I am court ordered to call in daily to ua. My Adderall shows up as Amphetamine on my ua results. It says the cutoff level is 500 NG/ML my levels are 14000+. I do not abuse my prescription so I need to know what could cause this?

I just had a pre employment mouth swab done and it came out positive for methamphetamine I don't get it I'm not a drug user and I've certainly never done meth before so I don't know how my test came out positive for methamphetamine the morning and the day before I had took some aspirin but that's it so im wondering if it was the aspirin that gave it a false positive reading some one please help ## New workout products have amphetamine in them

I am prescribed many medications monthly and not long ago finally got my primary care physician to do it all in his office from pain management, obgyn,phycologists and blood pressure and weight loss..I was just so tired off going to all those doctors for medication I have to have.Well that was a bad idea because he was fired and moved to a location that does not except my insurance not to mention now once again I'm left to starting all over getting my xanex and pain meds and my Ritalin and 6 other types of meds I need so I was wondering if anyone knows of a doctor that would at least could get me started and be a good understanding primary care doctor in or around the surrounding are of Sav,Ga.??

I recently failed my urine drug screen for methamphetamine but passed for amphetamines. My Dr said this is not possible if u fail for methamphetamine, u should fail for both.. I don't use but I am around some ppl who smoke it.. How can I fail my drug test for methamphetamine and not amphetamines if I do not take it?

No, that's not a listed side effect, as reported by the FDA, though it's been known to cause some problems with sleeping. The typical side effects are listed as possibly including drowsiness, dizziness, lethargy, irritability and increase salivation. Is it possible that he's just having nightmares? Has he mentioned anything about his dreams? Is he on any other medications?

How soon after taking Dexedrine will it show in a urine test? For example if I take it tomorrow morning at 8am, by what time will I test positive on a urine test? ## I know that dexedrine reaches peak concentrations in blood after approximately 8 hours for the extended release formulation and 3 hours for immediate release formulation. Average blood* concentration levels were achieved in 12 hours. While I'm not positive, I would imagine that if it's in your blood it's in your urine. Additionally: Dexedrine's is absorbed in stomach and excreted in urine. Higher absorption with alkaline substances. (sodium bicarbonate, etc.) increase absorption of amphetamines. Urinary alkalinizing agents (acetazolamide, some thiazides) increase the concentration of the non-ionized species ...

I said this on a couple of posts but want to make my own, what's up with these XR meds? They are all awful, but some people seem to love them which is good, but my experience XR means a weak quality, with a promise of quantity of time that never happens, what you get is crap, I'm sorry I been on Adderal XR which was horrible and some oxy XR which was more awful, IR, IR, IR, just like a green apple jolly rancher I don't suck it for hours, a suck for a minute and crunch that bad boy, instant gratification. The quality is much much better in IR form always.

Generic Adderall XR manufactured by Actavis is not the same formulation as was used by Shire/Teva. The efficacy of the drug does not exist in Actavis' version. I plan on filing a complaint with the manufacturer. I encourage others who are not receiving the expected results with Actavis' product to do the same. Be sure call your pharmacy and get the lot number of your capsules. Luckily, I am a chemist who has access to analytical equipment that will help me identify and quantitate this medication. I am unsure if it is indeed amphetamine salts and will not take my prescription. I want to know what I am putting in my body.
