Please advise the safety aspect of taking tripolene with concerta? 25mg of tripolene is taken at night. 54mg of concerta in morning. Will this produce any side effects ? ## Hello, Jill! How are you? From what I've found they can be taken together, as long as they have both been prescribed for you. However, all medications carry the risk of causing side effects, even if taken alone. The U.S. FDA lists the typical ones as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, irritability and mood swings. Is there anything else I can help with?

I took dex combo 5mg and also tested positive for methamphetamine, the dr asked if I was on methamphetamine and I told them hell no, never done drugs and told them that I was taking adderall but a generic band (dex combo) and he said oh ok that explains it, so it has something in it 2 show up as methamphetamine in a drug test. ## I have been taking 20mg twice a day for a while stopped using it on Friday now my PC Dr is required by law to drug test due to the drugs he prescribed to me Oxycontin, Perocet, Xanax. I am not prescribed addrall, it will be almost 4 days until my appt will I pass a urine test? Please help

I have information about Ritalin but has anyone had experience giving it to their child. My son is 7 and has just started taking Ritalin He complained about feeling different in his head and hearing sounds like screaming. I'm petrified, is this normal? ## I am an adult, and never took Ritalin as a youth so I can only speculate from my adult experience. Basically, Ritalin is a stimulant (not a methamphetamine), but it does increase Central Nervous System activity which can cause hallucinations at times. I wouldn't freak out at your son's symptoms unless they are continuously occurring (like every time he takes a tablet), and continue well after the adjustment phase (for me, 1-2 months). I'm on adderall, xanax, and ambien- I admitted I only tale the adderall M-F and sometimes I take two xanax a day because I have a lot of anxiety. So he says I need to pee in a cup because it's the law. I did it and when I came back into the room he wasn't having anything to do with me, so the nurse gave me my scrips and I didn't even finish up what I wanted to talk to my doctor about. He has been making me feel uncomfortable for over 6 months.. He wants me in and out in 5 min, no nice mannerism. I can't stand him! My concerns are what if I'm not taking my medicines as directed? I'm sure that will show and the Percocet I took last night is going to show up, so what do I do? Just cut my losses with this doc before he kicks me off as a patient?

I've taken adderall 30mg tablets usually orange oval shaped. My pharmacy says they only have blue tablets 30mg now. I was taking Adderall XR Barr, I didn't like it! Then shire XR which was way better. I could focus, study, multi task, pay attention etc.....Then my psychiatrist switched me to instant release. I started taking Adderall 30mg IR. The manufacture is Teva USA. It taste like candy! It keeps me up yet I'm not energized or focused. I have been taking oxycotin,xanex ,&adderall for over a year.. My doc doesn't require urinalysis unless there is a suspicion or once a year,he does a routine one- so in January 2012,the beginning of year-I hafta give em my pee- the tests come back & his nurse manager(who has a some sort of power/control issue) calls me in her office to inform me that I am testing positive for opiates. I nod my head yes because as far as I no - Oxys r opiates- according to her.. I'm from Texas and I'm wondering if any of you guys have been notified by your PCP about the new triplicate policy? My PCP's office notified me that I have to go in each month for me to get my prescription instead of every 4th refill and I also have to pay whatever amount I pay for co-pay+tripcate and on top of that I'm required to do monthly EKGs. Has anyone heard of such new policy for 2016? I had a urine test and it came back positive for Methamphetamine, and I don't do drugs. I have been taking Flonase, Cetrizine, Loratadine, Omeprazole, and Protonix. Which one of these could've altered my results? My doctor doesn't believe me, and I need to prove her wrong because it's affecting my pain contract.

I suffer from high anxiety, ADHD and minor depression. Last week I talked to my doctor and he prescribed me 50 mg Pristiq for the anxiety and 30 mg Vyvanse for ADHD. I have been taking both as directed, the Vyvance in the morning and the Pristiq at night before bed. So far the Vyvanse is working well for me. I feel much more focused, have more energy, and have been more social and more productive at work- just an overall better mood. The problem is that about 7 or 8 hrs after taking the Vyvanse it starts wearing off and I start feeling extremely anxious and can't sleep. The doctor said the Pristiq takes at least 2-3 weeks to start working, so I'm not sure how that will effect me yet. I was recently dropped by my doctor of 11 years for no reason, and i need to find a new doctor in my area that is accepting new patients that will continue to fill the prescriptions I had for adderall and xanax. I have been taking these 2 drugs now for almost 5 years. I'm 28 years old. I am not here to talk about why my doctor dropped me, nor am I here to be criticized by know it alls that just want to tell me that I shouldn't be taking these medications. I've taken adderall 10mg for several years without any problems. Recently switched to a generic manufactured by Mackrodt Spec called "dextroamphetamine " . What other prescription meds come back as amphetamines besides ranitidine? I haven't done methamphetamine and am being violated for it... I take numerous prescriptions: latuda, fetzima, prilosec, ranitidine, baclofen, relafen, liquid lidocaine and a few others...grrr, I have serious connective tissue disorders and auto immune diseases. ## Hello, Becca! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're experiencing. Among those you've listed, the only one that is known to cause it is the Ranitidine, according to the Redwood Toxicology Laboratory. What are the others that you take and didn't list? There are far too many possibilities for me to be able to list them all for you.

I've tried several different brands of adderall, and I find the pink round tabs with markings cor 136 on them are by far, the strongest version available. As far as side effects go, minor dry mouth, slight loss in appetite but not major weight loss, and the major side effect that I personally get, is increased libido. Like 100 Xs my normal, or regular libido. It ended a LTR I was in due to my constant, errrr... urges, I guess. But I'm not sure if the increased libido is such a bad thing. I actually enjoy it as it makes intimacy much, MUCH more pleasurable.
