I took 40mg of Vyvanse on Saturday and had a u/a on Tuesday. Will I pass? ## I know this is an older thread but as many people may have similar questions regarding their (illicit or legal prescription) use of amphetamines and what results can be expected regarding urinalysis drug toxicology reports, I figured I'd post this: the answer to this specific question would depend on the frequency that the inquirer uses (used) vyvanse. Their dosage (40mg) was a pretty low therapeutic dosage and based on the way they phrased the question, I'd assume that they didn't take vyvanse on a regular basis, but rather a PRN (as needed) prescription basis or an intermediate illicit basis for recreational purposes (again pretty low dose to obtain any recreational value). So I took 10 mg of adderall on two separate back to back weekends in 5 mg doses over a month ago and had a haircut the following weekend. I potentially have a hair test coming in the next week or two. It's a pre-employment screen for a position I was offered through a staffing agency so it could be any of the tests. I also have a haircut scheduled for this week (wedding this weekend). If I show up and find out it's a hair test will I hit the cutoff for a positive test or will the concentration be below the 300pg/ml or whatever the cutoff is? ## A hair drug test is meant to show consistent use over time. I am in college and I have ADD. At the start of the spring semester my Dr. prescribed me the generic form of Ritalin "methylphenid." When I went to go get my last prescription filled they gave me "methylphenidate." Are there any difference between the 2? If so what? ## They are the same, both generic for Ritalin. The pharmacy just left off the last 3 letters of the name. ## Hello Bobjotoby, How odd, I don't think I have ever seen a pharmacy cut off just the last 3 letters of a drug but I was unable to find anything on a drug named methylphenid so I would assume that BL is correct in saying that is likely what has happened. For peace of mind you always have the option to call the pharmacy and confirm if this is the case. Let us know what you find.

White pill with MP 20 on one side and 123 on the other side? what is it? ## I can't find this specific marking listed in our U.S. prescription drug resources. It could be something available over the counter or a foreign medication. Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere? ## recently purchased and exact pill from a friend and have trouble finding it on the web. Was told it was Ritalin. Will Lunesta cause a positive urine drug screen for methamphetamine? ## No, from what I'm finding, the active ingredient in Lunesta, which is Eszopiclone isn't known to cause a false postive for anything on drug screenings. I have Chiari Malformation - A brain condition that has my cerebellum going into my brain stem (my brain is too big for my head so it slightly seeps out my skull). I get continuous migraines and nerve pain I also have ADHD combined and Bipolar 2 I am currently on Vyvanse 30 x1 (adhd), Lamictal 100 x2 (bipolar), Gabapentin 100 x2 (nerve pain). I have never been on a nerve pain medication that has helped me out so much. My problem is, when I combine it with the Vyvanse, there is agitation and I tend to go manic for the day and crash at night with a lot of anxiety. When on Vyvanse with just the Lamictal x2 and Gabapentin at night, I feel a lot better, but I'm still cycling fast. Also, ever since starting the Lamictal I am cycling faster. I was wondering what kind of pill is round and white that has GG 780 printed on one side. ## This is an old tablet that contained 20mgs of Methylphenidate in a time released formulation, it is a generic for Ritalin SR. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, anorexia, and insomnia. While this tablet is not longer listed as being available, (caveat that may change, again, at any time), there are many other generics available. Is there anything I can help with?

I just moved to San diego and I just got insured, so now I can actually afford to get prescribed adderall. There is no way to know if a doctor will prescribe anything for you and, if they do, what the dosage will be. The only thing you can do is set up an appointment with a doctor, make sure they get a copy of your current medical records and then discuss your treatment options at the appointment. I have a traumatic brain injury and secondary ADHD because of it. I'm looking for a doctor in the port Charlotte area who will perscribe me 2 /30mg XR Adderall with 2 /20mg IR Adderall. My current pyschriatirist is making it hard for me to and because of my cognitive deficits high dose stimulants seem to be the only thing that helps me fight back against all the fatigue and lack of productivity I experience due to my brain injury. I don't like having to argue or lie about how much taking the Adderall at this level has benefited my quality of life. I have just been given Methylin as a generic for Ritalin. I have taken other generic forms of Ritalin. All others have been called Methylphenidate and have all responded as anticipated. Methylin has been very different. It has made me sleepy, not alert at all and most importantly has significantly lowered my blood pressure while raising my pulse. My last dosage lowered my bp to 63/46, pulse 96. I stopped the medication. Are there any others with similar effects while taking this medication? ## Tell your doctor and pharmacist that this generic doesn't work for you. I have been taking Methylphenidate mps 20mg for the past few years and doing great. A couple of weeks ago I went up to get my refill but it wasn't the brand I was on. They told me at the pharmacy that it's the same thing. I was taking them but I am feeling weird along with an upset stomach. Headache. They gave me apo brand. Does anyone know which generic manufacturer CVS commonly has in stock for both IR and XR Adderall (Amphetamine Salts)? I know they used to carry Mylan for the IR and it's awful. They also used to carry Actavis for the XR which is also terrible, but I don't have many pharmacy choices with my insurance.. and I'm nervous that I'm going to get stuck with Actavis/Mylan... if anyone has any info I'd appreciate it. I have taken 40mg of Adderall XR (20 mgx2) for over five years. Once in the past i had to stop taking the Adderall abruptly and the withdrawal was terrible. From everything i heard and was told it wasnt supposed to be bad. I was stuck in bed for days. No matter how much i slept i was exhausted. Eventually Aderall was restarted and things went back to normal. However, now a couple of years later during a very stressful week i made the mistake of abusing my prescription. Haven't used Amphetamines since I was in grade school. Rosaline. Do recently my Dr wanted me to try Mydayis. Today was the first day 25.5 mg then in 2 weeks 37.5. I can't say I felt much, maybe a little more focused but not black hole focused and could still laugh and be myself. I am in Los Angeles on business and ran out of my Adderall XR 20mg. My doctor in DC sent me a script but no one will fill it due to a new CA law.
