Anxiety ## This drug helped me focus but made me very adjatated. I would not recommend this drug. Try Fobulin. It work much better. ## I believe the individual who posted first meant Focalin not Fobulin, however, Focalin (an extended release version of a single side-isomer of methylphenidate [=Ritalin]), a stimulant ADHD medication. Stratterra is a non-stimulant ADHD medication, and while this lowers numerous side-effects, removes the possibility of addiction and/or abuse. Though this sounds wonderful in light of stimulants' many downfalls, the medicine itself does not work very well, and has fallen almost completely out of vogue with psychiatrists except in cases of a comorbid previous addiction problem. My son is 12 1/2 and weighs 105 pounds i was wondering what the top dose of Ritalin should be for him. His behavior is getting worse daily and I was wondering if his dose needed to be adjusted and if so what not to go past ## Sorry I can't help with dosage information except that, from my experience, i strongly recommend the Extended Release version (e.g., SR/Timed-release) which I think would help prevent addiction and/or continually increasing dosages as your child ages and gets bigger. I worry about this for kids because, in my experience, Ritalin is quite addictive (more so than Cylert was which was discontinued). However, doctors aren't necessarily going to keep your child on it. Taking one drug a day as opposed to 3-4 is much less habit forming. Whatever dosage, please try...

I have a almost 8 yr old daughter and she is on Strattera and now Concerta. I'm worried (if it is true) you need to be tested by professionals to be diagnosed with ADHD, and that she should have her liver checked? I feel this medication causes her not to eat and become a zombie. She seems to keep to herself. I feel that her condition is because she feels our divorce and all the problems that go with it. Could anyone help me please? I can't stand my doctor. Can I still get adderall after I'm 45? My blood pressure is not very high. Have ADD. I know it's not outgrown. Don't want to go off of it. ## I am 51 and I take Adderall. lose weight ## you are correct this is an amphetamine used to lose weight. One must be careful not to take too much as it is known to become toxic in one/s system quickly. It is a controlled subsance used to dull the appetite. Watch for constipation, marked decreased appetite, insomnia. ## This one doesn't appear to be used very often as their isn't much information available about it online. I have gained 10 pounds since the doctor put me on this drug to improve my concentration.. He says he has never heard of this...that people generally lose weight. I haven't been eating more, in fact I have eaten less. I have had more energy and it has helped my concentration, but the weight gain is horrible!!!!????? ## Has he done any other tests to rule out other reasons for the sudden weight gain? ## Yes, everything else checks out fine..thyroid etc. He can't figure it out. ## Don't take I don't know for an answer. white and round found in daughters room ## I cannot find any with the number 780 on it, sorry. ## I cannot find this listed in any of the US prescription drug imprint databases, so I cannot confirm that identication. ## This is a generic form of Ritalin SR 29 mg -- methylphenidate. ## Sorry -- that's 20 mg ## SR 780 is the generic version of Ritalin. This is a 20mg sustained release pill. This medication is for ADD/ADHD. It helps a person be able to block out distractions thus allowing them to focus more on work that needs to be done.

oval shape.white watson 385 ## subcribed for pain by dentist. I had a tooth pulled. I was so ill with a headach and nassa the next day It was difficult to take 10 steps to the restroom. By 9pm I was able to sit up and watch tv for 2 hrs before lying back down. Day 2 I'm up with a slight head ach looking up on the internet what might have happened to me. I also take 45 mil. of Adderall a day. I did not take it yesterday.

i would like to no what ritalyn 10 mg are made with cause i was told that there is cocaine in them is this true ## No, there is not any cocaine in Ritalin. The active ingredient is Methylphenidate. The idea is that it will help to calm down somebody with ADD, but it has the opposite effect on most other people. For more info you can check the page on Ritalin.

THE DR SAID MY DAUGHTER SHOULD ONLY TAKE HER ADDERALL WHEN SHE HAS SCHOOL.
