Please clarify: From what I have been able to research on here, it appears that Concerta and Ritalin are actually the same drug. Is that true? I looked under Methlphenidate and Metadate CD and both say commonly known as Ritalin in North America. ## That is correct. However Methylphenidate (Ritalin) is immediate release and Concerta is a Slow/Time Release form of Ritalin that is released into the body over a duration of 10 hours.
pill is light pink with large P on it, SR 75 on back ## I found a pink triangular shaped pill with a bold letter 'p' on the front(just bold,no solid line work, so I guess double line work?) with SR 75 on the back of it in my brothers pants when doing laundry. Most often than not, he reufes to take his prescribed pills for his ADHD, and hides them in places. He claims he doesn't know where he got this, but I'm very concerned. Is this something I should bring up with his middle school teacher?

Does brand name 10mg Adderall have a new design? Picked up my Rx yesterday and pill is blue. One side is scored and says 10. The other side, rather than saying AD, has a symbol which looks sort of like a figure 8, or perhaps a letter S with a line through it. Pharmacy says these are brand name Adderall. Anyone else see these yet? ## Brand name Adderall, at least the IR version, has a new formulation! (This was confirmed to me by an individual at Barr Pharmaceuticals - manufacturer of brand name (& generic) Adderall. And IMO the new formulation is nowhere nearly as effective as was the old formulation.
