This pill is different from the one I was taking at 1st and it definitely doesn't work like the other pill which leads me to believe it's more of a placebo than the actual medicine. I need to know if I should bring this to my doctor's attention?

Is the marking possible a stylized E with 79 on the opposite side?
If so, this tablet is manufactured by Aurobindo Pharma and they list it as containing 10mgs of Zolpidem, which is a generic for Ambien. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, sleep actions, and next-day hangover-like effects.
Is that the medication you were supposed to receive?
