I was let go by my physician, him assuming I was selling my med's. I take 4 to 5 oxycodones a day. Didn't show in my urine or blood work on 2 months of lab work. I take my med's. I am now flagged and my records are assuming I wasn't taking the medicine and the Dr. would not prescribe my pain med's until I could get into another Pain Clinic and has assumed I was not taking my med's.. I have never sweared on anything but I will swear to anyone, I take my med's as prescribed to me. Please give me any info you can. This is my character being ruined and I haven't done anything wrong. I did report this to my pharmacy and called the manufacture, "Watson" to report this terrible mistake.

I am sorry that you've had such a problem, that's awful.
However, sadly enough, it was probably due to the type of test they are using. The less expensive non-certified tests can be very unreliable, but many doctors offices pick them and use them to save money.

Another thing that may affect the test if you were taking in a lot more fluids than usual, that can dilute both blood and urine.

Just want to let you know that 48 to 72 hours of not taking it, will show that it's no longer in your system,so if you run out about 3 days b 4 u see them it wont be in your system. I know this because I use to drug test 3 times a week for 18 months. Hope this helps! Good luck...

My mom is prescribed oxycodone 20 she is in pain management and her urine screen levels are not the same each month she takes them what should her level be if she takes 4x daily? And if she runs out and takes lorahtab how much would she have to have in her system to equal as the same as the oxycodone?

ask for a copy of the result report, make sure your name is on it. Often the test get mixed up with someone else's... such sloppy work. and then we are punished for their incompetence

I have the same problem. I take I take 2 40 milligram a day of oxycontin and 2 oxycodone 10 milligram a day and 4 10 milligram methadone a day for 15 years or more and had taken them faithfully every day since prescribed! I also am being flag and my character being ruined! Also have to go to a pain clinic because neither the oxycodone or oxycontin showed up in urine test or blood test! The only thing that showed up was the methadone! I would never do this in my granddaughters name but I swear on my 3 year old granddaughters grave that I have taken all medicines given to me since day one! What is going on! I don't want Dr will believe me because of what's in my medical records! This is so wrong! Because I am nothing but the truth the whole truth!I am such and such chronic frontier in my sacroiliac from my lumbar and having three failed fusions! My spine was so bad the third fusion was done from the front where they had to remove some organs to get to the spine I am in severe intensifying chronic pain and no one will help me or believe me till I get to a pain clinic!

It very well could negate your blood or urine results. That and other fluids you take in. Coca Cola has a lot of crap in it as well, acids and all that sugar could very well cause diabetes. A disease you absolutely do not want to have. I say this lying in a hospital bed in a rehab trying to recover from a surgical wound I got two years ago.
Diabetes won't let it heal. Chronic pain is bad enough, both diseases totally control my life, every waking moment, good luck to you friend.

Watson generic narcotics are pretty much the real thing in practice. There are more extensive, more expensive drug tests. Pardon by language — my Mom brough m up right — my some of these docs are such PUSSIES when they think of the initials "DEA". Did he retest and was it with the SAME test? Should have used a more sophisticated test. Honestly, a blood test can be simple or sophisticated. WE, the shrinks, docs (shrinks and internists) who treat addicts, etc., devised an "Exotic Enhanced Drug Test" protocol. (As Chief of Psychiatry, I will not permit anyone supervise to bring 12-Step flimflam into that program. THere's no valid and reliable research no it. I was a Journalism major and know 20s-ear advertising b.s. when I read it; incidentally "Addiction Medicine" is NOT a recognized medical specialty by The American Board of Medical specialties. SAM is its own creature. If I gave mica my med school and l,license number, HE could join!) Personally, my intuition — since I did have an Rx drug problem as undergrad — usually is spot on, but even I can't put that into words. This is pretty outrageous. A toxicologist can tell you all the possible reasons for a false pos; I only know a few. You're right; this does suck.

Just use a knife to cut a pill, but just scrape off a little so it's powder, then collect the tiny amount of powder and put it in a small container or empty pill bottle. Take it with u to the dr, and urinate in it, then pour it into the urinalysis cup. That tiny powder won't be seen and you will show up dirty for opiates.

If you also take extended release opiates they can cause your break through meds to not show...only hydrocodone will show each time, with Oxy it's hit or miss and I don't know why doctors don't know this!!

We need legal help. I have taken 10 mgs of oxycodone for 10 years, have the MRI that shows my back damaged and crumbling. My Dr. told me he will no longer prescribe to these to me as I am not taking them, I am diverting (selling?) them. I am 62 years old, with and without insurance in the health care nightmare. HELP!!!

I don't know your dosage but I don't test positive taking 5 mg Oxycodone and have to take at least 10 if I want to be sure to test positive.

Mine was not showing up either. One day I was in the lab and they had everything all screwed up in their office! The lab came and said they would not come back till the next morning. The urine sat in a cold box locked outside till the next day when the lab picked it up. I ended up going to the pharmacy and purchasing an over the counter drug test for 15.00 and did it in the Dr's office and guess what? Yep the Oxy showed up! I believe the labs and sometimes his employees make mistakes and they don't take responsibility. I got back on my meds but I am now weaning.

I took it that am.and that evening. Oxycodone 15mgs, 1 every 4 hours. Total bs, in demand 2nd test it came back positive. I was vindicated. Or not. A month later still no meds. Cancer dt won'teven return my calls.

I was recently drug tested at the pain clinic and it came back positive for cocaine, and no opiates! Total bs. I wasn't called in, never initialed the sample. Anyway, this test has ruined my everything. I'm in my 2nd round of metastatic breast cancer along with chronic back pain from a boat injury. Now no one will manage my pain. They are sending me to the same pain clinic to meet with a cancer pain management dr. What is she going to do? Same as everyone else. I am not a street drug user. I drink tons of water from chemo. Please help. I'm in NC. Who will help?

Its all about how you body METABOLIZES this med. Ask your Doc for a Metabolization test. For me, my body does not metabolize any extended release meds so I get no help at all. They gave me a specialized blood test to prove this and I actually got 2 apologies from 2 diff Docs. I could not believe it they did this...and it showed I was right all along about this. I think some of you may have same issue when you feel ER narcotic scripts are not working for pain and you do not know your body does not metabolize them correctly. Ask your Doc for the test..it is bullett-proof and tells the truth. Your doc may be verbally abusing you for no valid reason over this.
