What does above mean? The "7L" is imprinted on my pill along with "001", but the "description" on the label only says that "001" is imprinted?? Please help!! Thank you!!

The tablet with the TL 001 marking is not Metformin. It is manufactured by Cadista and they list it as containing 4mgs of Methylprednisolone, which a steroid used to treat allergic reactions and immune disorders. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, fluid retention, nervousness, insomnia, acne, and weight gain.
If you were supposed to receive Metformin to treat diabetes, someone has made an error and you should inform your pharmacy immediately.
