#60 Glipizide/ Metformin And #60 Glipizide

the #60 Glipizide/ metformin are 5-500 mg. and the #60 Glipizide are 5 mg. Why would you take 1 tablet of the Glipizide metformin 500 mg and 1 Glipizide 5 mg? do they balance each other out or help stabalize sugar levels? thank you for responding.

metformin and glipizide are two seperate diabetic medications. the metformin has a small amount of glipizide in it - and the rest that you need is supplied by the 5mg pill. also, the 5mg glipizide should be taken 30 min before a meal, the 500 mg metformin WITH a meal. you should also be receiving vitamin B12 supplements, as the metformin decreases your levels.
