i need to know what these pills are i have; my friend was supposed to get me suboxone because i was going threw opiate withdrawl last night and he gave me two small white, round pills with a 54 and under the 54 is a 411 and the other side is just plane with no scores or anything. what is this? please somebody help me; i dont want to take something i dont know what it is.

Hello. I know a few people have given their personal regimen on how much of these to take for withdrawal. I just acquired 4 of these bad boys and have a little bit of experience with them. I am about to kick a heroin habit with them and want to know how much to take and how often. In my experience I know it doesn't take much. What is the best regimen, day by day to make my life not suck for the next few days? I gotta work tomorrow then a day off, then the rest of the weekend grinding. Can anyone who is serious offer some help and guidance?

To the person going through opiate withdrawls. What you have is 8mg of Subutex. I started taking it about 2 yrs ago. It's a miricle drug. Believe me, the 1st time I took it it made me perfectly well & I was having VERY SERIOUS opiate withdrawls.
It's taken under the toungue ( sublingually ) & that's the best way to take it. You can snort it but it doesn't work as good or as fast. It should be taken while "sick". I put 1/4 piece under my toungue & in 10 min I felt perfectly normal, what ever normal is. IT WILL WORK. People are prescibe up to 4 pills a day. That's way too much. I take a total of about 3/4 per day & that's all I need. Good luck. If you can get 'em you won't even need opioids. Hope it works for you. IT SAVED MY LIFE

ok. Number one, some people use these medications and realize that if they snort them it will start working faster. Second of all, its an ADDICTION. This is not a forum for YOU to say that sh**. This is somewhere people who are going thru similar situations can go to find answers and seek sanctuary. Please dont get on here anymore and talk like you know sh**.

Yr right,,,what do these people want ? Stay on opiates all yr life or stay on subutex all yr life? use as jason suggested get thru withdrawals and lay the crap down and get yr life back . took 2 1st day 1 next day 0 next day and a half of one 4th day then 0000000 after that no pain at all and not hooked on $$$$subutex Took unopened bottle back to Walgrens

It is the generic form of subutex. I don't know what some of these comments were acting like it's a bad thing. It does the same thing as suboxone with one added benefit. It still gets you high!! Only the first few times though it's somewhat of a tolerance god of some sort where after a few days u may not get that initial high. What better way to get off something but still get the effects for the first several days. Still kills any withdrawal symptoms without being an opiate itself, unlike methadone (supposed to get you Off heroin or OC, but is an opiate). The price for subutext can get a bit high though. 8 mg is the highest dose I believe so start with a half so the "tolerance god" drug doesn't go away after 3 days. Good luck getting off!!! :-)

i don't think IV'ing buprenorphine would be smart b/c it's only slightly water soluble. and injecting anything not completely water soluble only gunks up and hardens your blood vessels - plus what little is water soluble may be the only bit that is made available to your body. so much of it may be lost and destroyed since it goes directly into your blood stream and there is no chance for your liver to process it. since buprenorphine IS a narcotic analgesic, it really needs to make it to the liver where all (or most) opiates (i'm assuming) are converted to a form of morphine.
however, naloxone hcl, on the other hand is almost completely water soluble.
but, imo, there's no point in banging anything.
i'm no doctor, but neither am i endorsing the use of this drug in anyway. just be safe with what you do with any substance.

The pill you took is called SEBUTEX. Different from Subboxone because it doesnt have the opiate blocker (narcan) in it. If you have a bad opiate habbit, these piklls will help you withdraw. But be cafefull, if you take this drug too long you WILL become addicted to it as well. Being that this drug has no opiate blocker, you can take it at anytime, whether your high or about to be high. Best results occur when taken when your withdrawal symptoms begin. Take one pill and give it an hour. If your still sick take another one. Next day take nothing, tough it out...you got yourself there. Next day (day 3) take a half. You should be through the worst of your symptoms now. And you dont wanna be hooked on the sebutex.

I just recieved a script of these 54\411 pills as well. I have been on subutex for 4 years and works great and has kept me clean since 7/15/06. I normally have been getting the generic football shaped subutex as insurances are cracking down on paying top dollar for brand name. But as my bottle reads 54top 411bottom blank other side. This is buprenorphine 8mg tab sublingual (under tongue) Generic for subutex. I asked the pharmasist why it changed they just said sometimes they cant get it from one distributor so they go through another (Roxane Labs) in this case. Hope this helps

ok look.. first of all if your dope sick from opaites than watever your friend gave you u shoulda taken!! lol..if it was a true friend than u shoulda had no worries!..but with drugs thats rarely the case... i also have recently found myself in the same position... except MY friend told me tht he had a suboxone that i could have..well i got it from him n it was this same small white round pill with 54 and under that 411 and blank on the other side... i was skeptical but he then showed me the perscription bottle for the pills tht he gets frm the dr and it was indeed subutex..generic for suboxone!! hope this little story of mine helps because i actualy recieved one of these subutex n made sure it was legit n was a suboxone before i left.. and i was satisfied with it as well..it did the same job a suboxone would! it was great!

While I can't find the imprint listed anywhere, since it seems to very new, yes, that is what this is being identified as. Generics for Subutex just become available, very recently.
Along with addiction, as it is a potent narcoti, it is also sometimes used to treat cases of severe, chronic pain.

This is a generic form of subutex. It is not the same a suboxone. It does not have the narcan in it. You should not abuse this medication. Take only what is needed to prevent withdral.

He gave you subutex its almost exactly the same thing as suboxone but it doesnt have naloxone in it, so it is abused by some people
