4th Stage Nonalcoholic Liver Diease
UpdatedI"m 59 yrs old I suffer with 4th stage nonalcoholic liver diease boarderline liver cancer. I also have RA n fibernalgia, type 2 diabetic, osterritis, Herpes virus simplex 2, attacking my right eye and almost lost it. I have two bulging disc. In my lower spine 1 bulging disc in my neck. Plus scoliosis in my spine. And I also had 4 bowel surgeries due to a bad surgeon and lost 80cm. Of the most vital part of the bowel which now I live off of laxatives, because my bowels no longer function. I have been treated with Oxycodone for 5 yrs. Now because of the cbd guidelines they have cut me back to 10mg. Of oxycodone. Which only seems to make me comfortable for about 2 1/2 hrs. I live in Idaho. My original pain mangement doctor retired. W I have to go to this new clinic. I have allergic reaction to stroud shots and bad reactions to moraphine.and other pain medication. I feel I should be able to live my life comfortable for ever how long it may be. Doesn"t anybody care. Or someone that can help me. A doctor who isn"t afraid to prescribe the 15 mg. These guidelines are wrong when it comes to patients who really need there medications. I don"t know who to turn to to help. His there any doctor in Idaho that will help.

Unfortunately, most doctors are afraid to prescribe controlled substances, due to new DEA guidelines.
The FDA warns that Oxycodone carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
Have you tried consulting a pain management specialist? There are supposed to be exceptions for those that are suffering from possibly fatal conditions.
Re: Verwon (# 1)
I am in pain mangement. If the Dea is controlling it then that is probably the reson they won"t. People in real pain have to suffer because of the ones who have abused the medications. I think they need to make some changes to the guidelunes. So people in real pain doesn"t have to suffer. They don"t reallize what they are doing to the real pain suffers. I need to know if there is a pain killer that equals the equivalent of a 15 mg. Oxycodone. That would be okay to take with the Dea.
