30 Before Lunch?

Would taking Linzess on an empty stomach 30 before be just as effective? I have an hour drive to work and then approx. 1/4 to 3/4 of a mile before I get to my work station.....and there are no restroom on the walk in. I usually straving firsting thing in the morning so waiting until before lunch would work out so much better for me.
