2012 Oxycodone 30mg Shortage In Florida (Page 27)

My spouse, who is in severe, chronic pain, has been a customer of Walgreens for many years. We live in Pinellas County, Florida. Everyday this week we have driven from Walgreen's to Walgreen's trying to fill his prescription for Roxicodone 30mg, to no avail. I cannot get any help from his regular pharmacy. I know that it's dangerous for them to tell a total stranger which store has them in stock, but I don't understand since they know him, why they can't call around or give us any assistance. I am at a total loss as to what to do & would appreciate any information that you could provide. It is so hard to see him in so much pain. Thank you.

Panicnpain, I'm so sorry you don't have the support @ home where we all need it the most. I found myself feeling the same, when I couldn't refill my oxy scrip. & I actually have a wonderful supportive husband. I would have ended it all w/o him. It has nothing to do with you being "weak " living with pain, going through withdraws, and depression are so very real. It takes so much out of you. I live in Tampa, & have a great pain management Dr & just found a caring wonderful pharmacy. Tell me if I can give u their names if that will help. God bless you. Hang in there. In our darkest moments, there will always be light. Please just keep looking for it.

John, I thought. Of the same idea, law suite, after my walhreens of 14 years 10 of which I've. Been on pain mess, told me I had to have cancer for him to fill my scrip next time. Then when I changed it to hydromorpone he made me pick up ALL the scrips I had ready for later that week. I did call corporate office, they told me neither of this were their policy. I ended up being alergic to hydromorphone anyway. But since have found a small caring pharmacy.

Baby if you give up thats what DEA wants, dont give up please! I have been there in them thought once a month too, stay strong and f..k doing anything for the hubby!!! worry about you and only you until we fix this mess, and video going to Pharmacy and voice record if the video isnt an option, them put it on u tube they all need to be embarrassed like they have made us feel ashamed of being in awful pain, u call that discrimination so lets throw it back in there face now. WOW I CANT BELIVE EVERYONE IS HAVEING THIS PROBLEM I AM IN SAINT LUCIE COUNTY WELL PORT SAINT LUCIE EVERYONE GETS IT FILLED HERE EASY WALGREENS DOES IT WINDIXI ALSO WALMART PUBLIX KMART TARGET OR THE MAIL ORDER I HAVE THE NUMBER BUT YOU HAVE TO PAY 361 DOLLARS UP FRONT YOU GET A CARD IN THE MAIL WHICH IS GOOD FOR 9 MONTHS TO FILL WITH THEM AND THE OXYCODONE 30 MH IR IS 1 DOLLAR EACH SO WITH THIS MAIL ORDER U NEED TO PAY 361 DOLLARS THEN 99 DOLLARS THEN 1 DOLLAR A PILL SO ADD IT UP BUT THEN THE NEXT MONTH YOU ONLY PAY FOR SHIPING AND 1 DOLLAR A PILL TIMES 120 OR 150 180 IN MY CASE I GET 180 OXYCODONE 30MG ALSO GET HYDROMORPHOME 8 MG I GET 120 ON THAT AND 140 METHADOME 10MG I PAYED 340 DOLLARS FOR MY MEDS THATS WHAT THE PRICE IS EVERY MONTH FOR ME THE PILLS COME FROM ANOTHER STATE WERE THERE IS NO PILL PROBLEM WOW I CANT BELIVE HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING I HOPE U ALL GET WELL AND FIND A PLACE WHO CARES

great idea! im bringing my iphone on video next 5 pharmacies that treat me like i dont exist and saying they only have 10 pills, not enough to fill, or sorry cant help you...post on youtube....they will start to feel how we feel.

no mail order is no longer avalible to the state of florida,sorry f DEA closes the pharmacies close the f pill mills then they wouldnt be a shortage in florida-then all these punks couldnt just go in an get scripts wrote to them from other states,the pill mills are the ones that runt the oxys for everyone who is chronic an has real pain,f punks just out of high school or guit going to school an never worked a day in there life,they dont care who they give pills to cause as long as you got the money to pay them,you can get scripts,DEA office as all Idiots working in there,they close pharmacies for giving out to many but leave the so Called Doctors keep writting them,But Take it out on the pharmacy for doing there Job,Thats what there in business for is to give people there meds,DEA has it all backwards just like there f brain is the small pea brain they got

tater. i agree. but...i was an unfortunate victim going to one of these so called "pill mills" here in vero bch-the one that was closed down in june 27th 2012. and i was in no way tipped off that i was going to a pill mill. i pissed every month, doctor checked me and wrote my meds. it seemed as legit as any of the other doctor offices ive been going to since 2000. i hear you with these kids getting rx filled and selling them but i think those days are gone now. that sux bout dea getting shut down the mail order. what are we suppose to do now that the dea shut down every avenue of getting the meds we need. im disabled awaiting my medicaid which is still months away. in the last year, the counbty health dept referred me to the doctor who was shut down and noone will take any of the patients that went there-legit or not. this entire situation is bs. dea ruins lives and hope they get whats coming to them

haven't been on for a while,can't believe nothing has changed.I guess the only one who answers me on this site is panicpain.Thank you.went to doctor today and covering doctor was so rude.everyone was getting meds cut.does it ever end?if it isn't the pharmacies its the docs.If we were rich we would have our meds.If australia wasn't so expensive i would be there already.

yep..if i were younger and not disabled...move out of country...im having same issue my doc cut meds to such a low dosage from the past 12 years...i only get 4 10/325 oxy a day(percocet) from 30mg ir oxycodone 5 a day with morphine and cut to where i can take 3 of my 4 allowed per day(pharmacy wont fill more than 120 month. he wont write roxies and im sick after the am dose wears off and have to be in pain and withdrawl. i smoked some weeed tonight-gotta go pee in 6 days and dont give a f***..ill tell him if i get popped because your not medicating and managing my pain i have to do other stuff to sleep and not be in w/drawl..i may just quit till i can find a good dr. ity just cost too much everytime u look.

Ordering Percocet off a website is a scam. If you cant find them, you need to know someone who has the perscriptions but doesnt need them as much as you.
I know how to get them to you asap. email how many you need and where you live.
I am not selling these ofcourse as that would be illegal but I can mail them to you asap. I know what its like to be in pain. I know what it is like to need releif.

Well Said my friend , we need something to happen here, I have chronic pancreatites and just had surgery , that is the only medication that works for the extreme pain of breakthru, Oxycodone in any milligram would work , i cannot find any at all in the ORLANDO Florida area . please anyone help , i have been off work for 8 weeks because of this pancreatites and just like anyone else as i am no more important , legislation must make changes quickly so we the medicinul needer is suffering. Not Good . I have already started a petition with the pharecoloigy board to extract the probem get it out in the open and fix ity. I magine if the goverment did this to our food intake , we are entrenched slaves. May sound harsh ,but for those of us that are reading this right now writhering in pain , they know exactly how unfaif it is . David Scott

Sickynurse, a few months back, my pain mgt center hired a new Dr. He came in room, and knew nothing about me, and cut my meds. I complained to the administrator, and never saw him again. They made sure I saw the other Dr on staff there. The Dr who cut me, and everyone else was let go. Let the staff know you're upset, and can't treated that way. If they want to keep you as a patient, they'll help you. God bless and speak up for your rights.

my appt. is next week and i smoked a hit of weed last night and i cant be getting sick with thse rods in my neck, im only getting these bullsh..t 10/325mg percocets which i need to take 2 just to get out of bed and leaves me 2 which i just took-6 hours later and im out. i dont care anymore if he pisses me this month and sees pot...im going to tell him since you wont help me with proper dosage knowing the meds i was on for the last 12 years to be on these percs a day is just enough to make me withdrawl every day till next am and live in pain...i dont even like sokin pot but i cant be getting sick...this is all too much.
