My spouse, who is in severe, chronic pain, has been a customer of Walgreens for many years. We live in Pinellas County, Florida. Everyday this week we have driven from Walgreen's to Walgreen's trying to fill his prescription for Roxicodone 30mg, to no avail. I cannot get any help from his regular pharmacy. I know that it's dangerous for them to tell a total stranger which store has them in stock, but I don't understand since they know him, why they can't call around or give us any assistance. I am at a total loss as to what to do & would appreciate any information that you could provide. It is so hard to see him in so much pain. Thank you.

Please, I need a new dr since mine has dropped me bc I missed my last appointment. It took me 3 weeks to fill my script so I decided to wait to go to my next apt since it didn't make sense. Anyways, I called to schedule my apt and the nurse said that they can no longer see me and to continue going to the new doctor I've been seeing...what new doctor?!?! I just wanted my apt to coincide with when I fill the scripts! Please help! I live in orlando and need help!! I have MS and have chronic pain, and need my medication in order to function! any help will be greatly appreciated!

aMAZING THAT AS GOING TO ABOUT 10 DIFFERENT PHARMACIES trying to fill small dosage oxycontin last month, either they couldnt give it to me as they were out or dont carry them anymore forced me to go back to the doctors office and all he could give me was percocet 10/325 which is not enough relief except in the morning when i need 2-3 at once just to do normal things without pain, and then 1 pill left the rest of the day so not sleeping, withdrawl, and pain all because the doctor i am seeing wont write roxies any strength or dilaudid.(both my old pharmacist carries and has in stock these 2 meds) but i need a doctor and one called yesterday and i know him to be a good doctor prescribing proper meds to those of us in real legit chronic pain.
back to the percocet 10/325 amazing after trying any major pharmacy saying no dont carry it, i went to publix as along shot hope and sure enough he filled it and said every month no problem.
although im hoping to be under a new doctor by next visit...they called yesterday finally to ask me my condition and for paperwork from dr. and now waiting for them to call next week for an appointment. i am so hoping he takes me as a patient as hes in my city where i live and so i can go back to my old pharmacist who carries dilaudids and roxies...hoping i will be able to get proper medication strength so i dont have to feel so bad all day and night. this dr im seeing (as no choice until another dr calls thats why im so hoping this in town dr will set appointment up soon)
last month i told the nurse i dont understand why he wont help me when im legit with metal all over my neck/back, etc. i said the meds ive been on for years(until my old dr office closed down) and what hes prescribing me now is a joke...i dont have a toothache i have chronic severe stenosis even after the multiple cervical fusions and leaving me disabled. GOD PLZ help me and the doctor plz call me next week with an appointment so i dont have to keep suffering.

I also had a little trouble finding percocet as they were out of stock of oxy 15 mg. This is really starting to frighten me as I am really dependent on them for seroius medical conditions. I pray that someone will be able to help us !

the place i goto now will not give me medication except 4 10/325 percocet and will not write dilaudid or oxycodone in any strength. These meds are affordable and works for me. The percocets are enough for me to get out of bed and by noon have no pills left for the entire day and night until 6 am the next day. I have tried over and over to get a doctor to help me and i am either on a waiting list and then denied(i have never had trouble finding a doctor until now) This is a living hell i live daily and everytime i think i may be getting close to a doctor, it falls apart. i have surgical records and been in pain management since 2000. never had issues until my old doctors office was shut down in june 2012. this is so unfair and cruel. i have enough records and history with my injuries that theres no question i am a legit pain patient but whether it is my insurance not being good enough or just unlucky trying to find a doctor to help me.
the doctor ive been going to past 3 months isnt helping much at all. he knows the meds ive been on since 2000, yet will not write anything but 120 10/325 percs a month.(4 per day) and this gets me moving in the am till about noon when I have no meds left and suffer in pain and withdrawl. thank you for any help.

Well im in GA from FL and pain clinics are here and they will see you the problem has become what the problem is there the damn PHARMACYS JUST SAY NO WE DONT HAVE SORRY.. I've found 1 pharmacy that will fill for me and its a supermarket called KROGER without them I wouldn't have a shot of getting my opana filled,my with is on percucet and she can't even get the filled I mean percs are you kidding that's like nothing an they won't fill yea its bad c.v.s an Walgreens just drive by them don't even waste your time getting out of the car,I was with them for 3 years in GA that's when i moved here from FL in 2009 and they took care of me every month no problem til about march 2012 now the whole chain says nope sorry its absurd it really is...so if you find a place and there out of stock but willing to order for you,stick with them and leave your script with them an use them every month,buy them donuts coffee every other month an you'll be fine but screw Walgreens and c.v.s THEY DID ME DIRTY... LEFT ME HIGH AN DRY WITH NOT EVEN A LAST REFILL TO FIND ANOTHER PHARMACY..

The time is coming that no c2's will be a available. I see someone from GA posting now. A family member in NY told me she had trouble filling her 15 mg roxycodone this month after dealing with same pharmacy for years and only prescribed 90, 15 mg a month. If people think this problem is going away, think twice. What's going away is our right for pain management. By the beginning of the year, I hope things don't dry up completely. I've heard by then, they're really going to be cracking down on all c2's except for terminally ill patients. Look into ffpcan.

Quick question: Has anyone been having trouble filling 10/325 percocet? My last script, I had to visit 4 different pharmacies until I found one with enough in stock. My normal pharmacy, CVS, said that they are having trouble stocking it since "everyone is scripting 10/325's now" due to shortage of other PKs.

I'm in Georgia and in a panic.!.! Out of 15 mg oxycodone!!! We have been to every pharmacy in town and Noone has them. I'm about ready to go to the hospital and just see if they can help! This is an emergency...

I know there are 20mg oxycodone, my son in law took them. When I was having trouble finding the 30 mg for my disabled husband, I asked the pharmacist at Walgreens about them. She said there was no such thing. Thank God I finally found a place to fill his meds and after Walgreens has happily accepted about 168,000$ worth of Medicaid money for his meds over the last TEN years, suddenly....they don't want to give him what his Dr. prescribed? So yeay, I transferred all 12 of his scrips somewhere else. Walgreens? They can screw off, I will NEVER go into another one for the rest of my life.

@ Dan,I really hope for your sake your case goes through for you an you can get the treatment you need an the Meds you need,I know your pain,I have had the plates an screws in my neck an 2 major back surgeries that the last one made me worse then I thought I was,I went to get up 5 hours after surgery an felt something rip in my lower right back an couldn't lay back down on my back or right side,I told them an they just walked away,now my lower right back down my right leg is screwed for life,These pill Mills have runt it for everyone in this State,I was going to do the mail order an they told me they stopped 3months ago an will not do no more to this State because of the Drug problem,And this is the Only State that allows Pill mills to stay in Business,If the DEA an Goverment would Close them we wouldnt have a Shortage cause we wouldnt have all the Kids getting pills that have never worked a Day in there Life to have Pain-or haven't been shot or in a bad wreck to f there life up,But they continue to allow them to give 18yr old kids pain meds an over 200 at a time they should be charged with attemped Murder

Oxycodone and Roxicodone same exact except Oxcycodone generic and they have 20mg that are exactly the same as the 30 mg except 10mgs , short i will state this for the last time and with insurance i pay only 15$ without only 65$ , for every problem there is a solution .
