What would happen to a Jack Russell dog, 15 lbs, if he ate one lipin 20mg by accident?

Yes, my dog had seizures, it's really weird that the last 3 times a particular person was visiting with me over the last 3 years, this has happened and I found these type pills on the floor by the bed, the pill is round and pink in color. On one side it says Lupin ,on the other side says 20,. My dog bit this person 3 years ago and now my dog has seizure's every time she has visited??

Oh wow, this is just my opinion, but perhaps it's time they stop visiting.

This tablet is listed as containing 20mgs of Lisinopril, which is used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. It's likely to strong for your dog and is lowering their blood pressure and heart rate too much, thus the brain gets deprived of Oxygen, which might trigger seizures.

The most common general side effects in dogs include diarrhea, vomiting and loss of appetite.

No, I haven't consulted a vetanary, my dog seems to be fine after a few days but he seems to be more aware of what he is eating and Wait's for his son to eat and then he eats. People don't take it as serious as I do when I tell what happens when she visits, and when I confronted her she had no compassion for my Dog, and could not believe that I thought she would do something like that. But she didn't find it odd that Snoopy had a seizure when she would visit. I can't afford to pay for the diagnostics from a lab. Just venting, for other opinions!! Thanks for your reply

If somewhere were doing that to my pup, I'd also be very upset and I have to admit, I'd not be so nice about it, either.

I'm glad he's doing well!

But really, I think it's time to make some changes, if that friend can't be trusted, then perhaps visits should stop. It's up to you, I can't tell you what to do, but I think Snoopy doesn't need any more adventures.
