2 Diazapam With Drug Test 17 Days Later...
UpdatedHello All~ I spent probably every waking moment last week desperately searching for anyone who was in a similar situation as I. I was literally terrified after reading people's experience's, even those few that sounded identical to my own. I'm certain that this will help someone, sometime. I had taken 2-5 mg. valium on August 24, at 9:00 a.m., I hadn't taken any benzo's in more than 15 maybe 20 years. I then had a random drug screen at my Methaone clinic on Sept. 9, (I believe it was 17 day's from ingestion to test) leaving me scared to death as they have a 0 tolerance to "benzo taking" while on methadone, no exceptions. Well, I PASSED MY TEST!!! And it was the type of test that is sent to an outside lab. (In this case, Redwood Labs in Cali.) As stated I haven't had benzo's of any sort till that day, or since so that could be a factor in my test results. I did nothing to try and alter my test because I will be honest, after reading all the posts/comments I knew it would be different as each person has a different situation and outcome. I hope that my experience...as stressful as it was does help some. Please do understand...if you take benzos regularly or even here and there, then my situation will not apply to you, I'm almost certain.
And 1 last thing...before someone starts in with the neg remarks about being on methadone and taken bennies, or along the lines of "Well if your so worried bout a drug test, then don't do the drugs", ect. etc...I had my entire (except 1 day's worth) weeks worth of methadone stolen out of my house by a ?friend? and after 5 days with NO methadone I found myself violently ill, and 5 mg Valium were the only thing at my disposal. Anyone that has a moderate to severe Opiate addiction or better yet, a Methadone addiction knows full well that 5 day's in after cold-turkey stopping just is torturous, so that's why I took the 2 tablets. ONLY 2 AND ONLY THAT DAY, AND NONE PRIOR NOR SINCE!!!! Hope this help's... even if it's just 1.
