10mg Cyclobenzaprine Vs 500mg Methocarbamol
UpdatedI recently had cervical spine surgery (fusion of 3 levels). Before the surgery I was prescribed 500mg methocarbamol three times daily. After the surgery I am now prescribed 10mg cyclobenzaprine. Can you tell me the difference between these two medications?

They are both muscle relaxants, but the base chemicals are different, so one, or the other may work for each different person that tries it, since we are all different.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth.
How is the new one working for you?
