100mg Capsul Gabapentine 59yrs Old Took 1st Pill 20 Minutes Ago

1st time user 20 min ago 100mg gabapentin. what to expect, very hype type. non smoker non drinker..Use .5 mg ativan 4xdaily 10yrs...why did doc think the gabapentin 4 me...????

Gabapentin is an anticonvulsant that has also been shown to help with certain types of nerve pain. Have you have issues with either one?

The most common side effects may include: nausea, headache, dizziness and weight changes.

Have you tried asking your doctor why they gave it to you?

It seems to also help with some mood disorders, such as bipolar disorder.
