Fentanyl is the most potent opiate available, so you'd actually need several hundred milligrams of Oxycodone to equal a 100mcg patch and you can't take enough Percocet to be equal to it. Percocet contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone, you'd overdose, especially on the Acetaminophen, before you ever reached the same level of efficacy. Even if you tried to space it over 2 days, as you would the patch.

The FDA lists these medications as being narcotic analgesics, so they have potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Has your doctor switched you form one to the other?

okay? I have a question on pain reliever that's best for amputated fingers. Course they reattached it. Was on 1cc of morphine til I got out of the hospital. Now take 2 percocet 5 every 4 hours. Would it be better just take 1 percocet 10 every 4 hours instead?

I was taking 180 mgs of MS Contin a day. I was just switched to 25 mcg of Fentanyl Transdermal Patch. Is this going to be strong enough. I'm worried about having withdraw symptoms from it.

You may have severe life threatening injuries that are only now manifesting themselves. Anxiety can often be a symptom of an underlying physical condition. Id really see a doctor ASAP
