and after all that says to you we know you need more but wont do it because they say want different opt latter so know live in pain till we fell time to change it dont get it were does it says in anny degree you can live in pain till we decied its enough for you to take after 12 years for real

So the question just is how do you talk to your dr and says the pain after 12 yrs of the same meds they dont work anymore and need to change them without feeling like you would be asking to much or do you just live with the pain or find a differnt dr help please dont know what any person would do

Hello, Ann! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in so much pain.

While finding a new doctor is always an option, you may not find one wiling to prescribe opiates, at all, so that is something to keep in mind, before deciding.

As to speak to your current doctor, the best approach is to just let them know that you're in pain and miserable. You can tell them that your current dose is no longer helping, but it would be best not to ask directly for a higher dose, or a different medication. Letting them suggest a solution would be best.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Does anyone else have any advice or suggestions to make?
