This is generic 0.25mg Aprazolam, or brand name Xanax. It is a benzodiazepine used for anxiety attacks, nervous conditions, muscle spasm problems. Side effects include possible addiction, euphoria, marked drowsiness, dizziness. I would be very concerned if I found it in my sons room and he wasn't an adult and had a prescription to it. Many people like to take these Xanax's ir Xannies as the kids call them, with alcohol which intensifies the feeling of being very calm. Some kids crush them up and snort them to feel it right away. I would start asking questions and expecting some answers. As a parent I feel your difficulty here. May things work out well for you, and hopefully, you caught things early and your son will be fine once he gets the help he needs.
