My depression symptoms were anxiety and depression stemming from lack of self-esteem and felling helpless/hopeless after being in a bad work environment with my boss and after losing some work and property that I created in a hurricane. I had feelings of grief and depression and in lack of motivation. I had PTSD, with anxiety but I also just felt completely demotivated. I had difficulty concentrating. I would feel overwhelmed and also de-motivated. I would be agitated and on-edge while at the same time I just wanted to retreat and stop trying to fix my situation. I'm 17 and I take Adderall XR, Zoloft, Klonoin, and Topamax. I have diagnosed with OCD, ADD, ADHD, and PTSD. I was reading that Topamax is mainly used for seizures and epilepsy. I have neither of those. Is there another use for this drug? ## While most drugs are only approved by the FDA to treat certain conditions, there is nothing that restricts doctors from prescribing it for other conditions, so many of them learn from experience that they can work for other things and will recommend them for those conditions that they have learned it previously helped treat. I have tried various meds in the past year which have not worked for my severe anxiety depression fears PTSD and OCD I never had mental health issues until I had a health scare over a year ago I am not functioning well but I am not functioning any better on the meds I try either should I just get off them please help ## Hello, Theresa! I have been taking Xanax and Zoloft for ten years. I am mentally ill and on disability. I tried all different kinds of medication for bad anxiety and bad panic attacks, PTSD. But, only Xanax and Zoloft helps me. I also need lyrics, for damaged nerves and spine and my joints. I live in Corbin KY. I can't find a doctor who will except me! Please help! I am not well! I've been on 1mg of ability with 50mg of pristiq mainly for PTSD purposes and my and some of my symptoms have worsened anger,hyper arousal,nightmares etc. I have tried other medications such as Zoloft,Prozac,Welbutrin all with no success or symptoms that became worse. I have been taking Viibryd for almost two weeks. I am on the 20mg dose in the starter pack working up to 40mg. My psych switched me to it from Zoloft due to extreme blunted affect and complete loss of libido and inability to climax. I am being treated for PTSD and postpartum depression. I am very nauseous. I was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to ease the nausea. ## Are you taking it with or without food? I just moved to NJ, i suffer from TERRRIBLE mental health issues,anxiety/social anxiety, depression, BPD, PTSD, ADHD.... to name a few ha. Im having enough trouble as it is just FINDING a doc that takes medicaid and I would reallly like to not have to go through a bunch of people telling me what ive already heard. I got a psych that gave me my adderal and zoloft but she was trying me on different SSRI and mood satbalizers that didnt work i feel she just thinks im a lost cause.
