Zoloft 25

I have been taking zoloft 50 mg for 6 years now. I felt my anxiety coming back a little stronger so my doctor up my dose 25 mg. so I have been taking a total of 75 mg for 2 months. I have been having bad problems with dizziness and lightheadness. I thought that the side affects would diminish but they are strong as ever. Is this normal to have these side after 2 months? ## No, that's not normal. I recently had genetic testing saying that Lexapro was not the best drug for me. So, I am being switched to Zoloft. This is day two of my transition- yeaterday went down to 10mg of Lexapro instead of 20mg and added 25mg of Zoloft. Does anyone have any experience? Just feeling off. I currently take 250 mg of zoloft and my pdoc has me on lactimal 100mg. The lactimal doesnt seem to work anymore and i tried everything else. I have bipolar with major depression and schizo affective disorder ,adhd,and ocd. i take also haldol 2mg twice a day,klonopin 2mg a day and vyvanse 70mg a day. i have been thinking about trying cymbalta or latuda. any suggestions. i just dont want to be depressed any more . i am 40 years old and dealt with this the whole time. ## Hello, Angel! I have an oval shaped pill lime green in color with 212 on one side and a split on the other side with 1/6. It's an Sertraline (Zoloft) pill but I don't know the MG. Two weeks ago my doctor increased my Zoloft dosage from 25 mg to 50 mg and I've had debilitating anxiety for since day three of the increase. The anxiety has lessened a little in the last day but I'm wondering if this is a side effect that's not going to go away. Hi I am 25 years old and I have been on zoloft for about 5 weeks now. I am on 75mg. I am on it for panic attacks. So the panic attacks went away at about week 2 on the medicine but around week 3 I started getting REALLY bad headaches that last all day. Then about a week ago the headaches sort of went away but now I suddenly feel cross eyed. It doesn't look like I am cross eyed though. I went to the hospital Thursday because I was so scared I thought i had a tumor or i was going blind or something and the MRI came back fine and blood work is all ok they said it could be vertigo and gave me anti vert which is a medicine to treat that. Does any one else with treatment resistant major depression have the same problem? It's making my anxiety through the roof. I didn't have anxiety before I was put on 25mg of Zoloft. It's horrible I feel like I'm having a heart attack and my jaw is clenched so tight I'm taking 800mg of ibuprofen every 6 hours with not much relief. When are doctors gonna realize, SSRI meds do NOT work for everyone and when I say I've already tried 25 meds for this & they didn't work, things aren't gonna suddenly change the second time around?? I started on Zoloft 3 weeks ago and I went from cutting a 50mg pill in half to increasing it 25 mg each week. I am now on 100 mg. I was prescribed Zoloft for anxiety. I usually take the pill around 7 pm. The first weeks I was absolutely fine the only thing that is persistent is that I would go to sleep and wake up few times a night. Hey, I'm going through clinical depression... Depression struck me four years ago. I realized something wasn't right and I forced my parents to take me to a doc. My diagnosis was a herculean task. It took almost 6 months of medicine trial and counseling and then came to a conclusion that I had OCD and depression. Thereafter, the doc prescribed me many different types of medicines and one medicine made me feel slightly better but increased my weight by about 25 kilos... So he tried one more medicine and I'm in the worst phase again... I'm a singer and I make people laugh and entertain them, but nobody can even guess what I'm going through.

I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety when I was 16 and started taking Zoloft. within 6 months of treatment I was taking 100mg of Zoloft, and here I am four years later still depending on it each day. Due to the high dosage, it caused me to have very very very bad side affects such as migraines and becoming restless 24/7. They then started me on Amitriptyline to help out balance the side affects and it worked perfectly. I am taking Divalprox 250mg tablets in 750mg doses. I also take Seroques 50mg and Zoloft 150mg. I have been having pain in my knees when I walk from a sitting position and. I have severe pain and numbness in my little finger and the two next to it at the knuckle to the point where it feels tight and hurts to make a fist. Could this be a side effect of my medication? ## Have you consulted your doctor? Hi All, I just started 150mg Wellbutrin XR and 25mg zoloft 1 month ago for Binge Eating Disorder. I loved it! Trying to find the right combo though. 2 weeks ago I couldn't sleep at night. So I started Trazadone at night. It's a tad better but it lessens the Wellbutrin affect with my BED. I'm wondering how many take the instant release? Thinking maybe 75mg in the am and then half that the afternoon to help me sleep better. I have had varying degrees of depression for 25 years now. I have tried 6 or7 of the SSRI'S. Mostly Prozac. Most recently Zoloft. I have never found total relief of symptom with any of these meds. Hey! I started this last month on 4/25 and the first week was miserable. I take it in the morning with Zoloft. I had really bad nausea either early in the morning or an hour after I take my pill. I don't usually eat in the morning so maybe that could be the reason why I have felt so awful. I have puked on a bus last month about a day after starting the pill. I finally finished my first pack and I just started a new pack. This time the nausea is worse and I can't stop puking. Especially after trying to eat. I wonder if I just need to eat with the pill, start taking it at night or just stop it all together. I just feel so bad and I want to continue taking it, but if it's going to make me feel like this for a while I'd rather just stop than continue to be nauseous. ## That ...

My boyfriend was on Zoloft 50mg when we met. Very loving and in love with me. Life was going great so he quit taking it in October. He decided to go back on a week and half ago. He didn’t ease into dosage. Took two days of 25mg and then went full blast to 50mg last Tuesday. He gradually distanced himself from me. Now a week later he is completely withdrawn from me and won’t talk to me or tell me how he is feeling. I have his location and see he is going to work.
