THE YELLOW C 230 WAS MUCH MORE EFFECTIVE THAN WHAT THE PHARMACY CARRIES NOW IP204. CAN YOU HELP ME FIND A PHARMARCY THAT CARRIES THE YELLOW 230 C PILLS THAT I USED TO GET EACH MONTH. ## Hello, Joe! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem you're experiencing. Unfortunately, there is no database that lists which manufacturer's products are carried by which pharmacy, even if someone tried to set one up, the information would be so dynamic that it would be virtually impossible to keep it updated accurately. Which generic a pharmacy carries can vary, depending on which supplier was offering the cheapest price through their distributor at the ...
1 REPLY Filed under Oxycodonefound this in my new house we're renting. just wondering what it is? ## Hello, Mystryx! How are you? The tablet with the Alvogen logo and the number 230 on the opposite side contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Oxycodone, the active ingredients in Percocet. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. 1 REPLY Filed under Acetaminopheni found this in my sons room and want to know what it is its round white with 230 on one side and a funny shape on back ## There is a light yellow, round tablet with the Alvogen logo and the numbers 230 on the opposite side that contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, a generic for Percocet, it is narcotic pain reliever. Learn more Percocet details here. Has this medication ever been prescribed for him? ## I am glad that your site showed this medication on the web, as I could not find it. I was told it was a generic for Percocet. 10-325, also known as oxycodone-acetamine 10-325. Even though this should have been very easy to find on all of the various pill/medication websites available, it was not. I myself have never seen this variation of Percocet 10/325, and was hesi...
73 REPLIES Filed under OxycodoneYes, it's a oxycodone 10mgs used for pain from a doctor and is only given by a doctor unless you find it on the streets and in that case can be very harmful to yourself. I've been on them after having my son when they had to get him out with a C/section I was taking two so 20mgs at a time and even with being on them a short period of time when I did get off of them I went through VERY painful withdrawal that I wouldn't wish on my worse enemy so if your taking them PLEASE PLEASE be smart about it I was under doctor supervision and still got hooked to them. Good luck to anyone needing help getting off them. Suboxone is something that really helps if used for a short period of time like a week or so. ## It is very difficult for the majority to become dependent on Percocet after...
4 REPLIES Filed under OxycodoneI have c 230 yellow pill but for some reason not all of them line up perfectly with the marked c 230 when flipped over , is this normal for this pharmaceutical company to not line up the marks perfectly when flipped over seems like the 230 can be sideways or upside down? ? ## Hi Nycole, Did you get this pill filled at a licensed pharmacy? If not, a lab analysis would probably be the only safe way to tell if it's legitimate. Counterfeiters can easily purchase pill presses off the internet and compose whatever type of tablet they want, making it look virtually identical to the real thing (but often have minor to moderate deformities such as what you described). When I look at a legitimate image of a 10/325 generic Percocet tablet (made by Alvogen Inc.) that's round, yellow and mar...
3 REPLIES Filed under OxycodoneI have been taking Percocet in different doses shapes & sizes for the past 15 years. With APP & without... I find absolutely have find very very very little difference (I say three times) between the different generic on the market & I find it bizarre that these people say they find drastic differences between them. I see a Less then 5% difference between manufactures.... Living in south Florida,Surviving thru the Pill Mill fiasco & swept clear thru the other side. The Tamper resistant Oxy-Contin & the unavailability of 15 & 30 mg IR has changed the market here in Florida. God luck to my brothers & sister here in the sunshine state.. ## I agree 100%. all are very similar ## The only Oxy IR brand that I find to have no relief, and actually puts me into withdra...
4 REPLIES Filed under Oxycodonewhat's the difference in the different shapes and colors and printed numbers on Percocets? ## Hi Sharon, A round yellow pill marked with "C 230" is reported to be a generic version of Percocet containing 10mgs of Oxycodone hydrochloride + 325mgs of Acetaminophen, used for moderate to severe pain. And this particular pill is manufactured by a company called Alvogen. However I think it goes without sayin' that all of the different shapes, colors, and imprints you see on any given pill are simply indicators for identifying various manufacturers, dosages, and of course the substance(s) - including inactive ingredients. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Am trying to find out why two separate 230 C percocets while having the (230) - (230) side by side and perfectly st...
4 REPLIES Filed under PercocetIs this Percocet time released? ## Hello, Nana! How are you? This one with the logo and 230 on it is manufactured by Alvogen and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen in a regular release formulation. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. 1 REPLY Filed under PercocetWould like to know who distributes a 40mg yellow oxycodone with half moon and 330? What company? ## Hi Rebecca - The "half moon" sounds a lot like either the old Actavis logo or the Alvogen logo. Unfortunately I can't find a version with 330 on it from their product listings. Actavis does distribute a 40mg yellow oxycodone but with "OP 40" on it. But Alvogen's markings are a bit closer - They have an Oxycodone 10mg + Acetaminophen 325 mg pill (generic Percocet) which is round and yellow with the inscription 230 along with the Alvogen logo on them (NDC 47781-230). Does this possibly sound like what you might have? If you see a Google Image search for the Alvogen logo it could help to you verify that half moon. Please let me know if this helps at all. I might be ab...
1 REPLY Filed under OxycodoneHello. For some reason when I take the yellow 230 oxycodone it always gives me a headache or severe back pain, but when I take the white RP 10 oxycodone they work just fine. Why is that? Is there an ingredient in it that I may be allergic to or something? ## I take the pink 10 mg and the last prescription I felt was that at Walgreens and it was this weird fat tablet that I’ve never seen before. It has an M on it but the manufacturer begin with an S, something is definitely wrong with it it gave me terrible stomach pain. I have stomach problems anyway but it gave me the worst stomach pain ever. I’m actually going to report it to the FDA medwatch but I think the pharmacist did. If not I’m going to. Somethings wrong with them.
1 REPLY Filed under OxycodoneThick round, light yellow pill. Only marks are: P73 ## From what I've sen from other replies about this same pill is that this is a low dose (81 mg) aspirin. ## Small white pill with P73 printed on one side. ## I have read that this is a low dose asprin but there is an odor to the bottle I found and it has no label on it. it smells like vinegar. ## CVS Pharmacy does list this tablet as containing 81mgs of Aspirin, which is the dosage many people use for heart health, and blood thinning. NDC code: 50428-2302 The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. Curious, many medications can have an odd odor, that is not unusual. Was the bottle marked as containing Aspirin, or something else?
4 REPLIES Filed under Aspirinwhat is the differance of this yellow round 230 10/325 percocet to the football shape 10/325 yellow ## I can't be completely certain, since you didn't provide the markings from both tablets, so I am basing my answer on just your post… That said, from what you've said, the only difference, if they are indeed the same medication in the same dosage, would be that they've both been manufactured by different companies. Learn more Percocet details here. Once a medication such as this is available as a generic, it is usually made by several different companies and each will have different markings, so it can be identified in case of emergency. Are there any other questions I can help with? ## Firstly. The person that replied did not look into your post enough....
3 REPLIES Filed under Percocetwas told they were 20 mg. percocet or oxycodone. That the 10mg. yellow Endocets was either discontinued or they are going to change the color to white but not available yet. This person was given 75- 20 mg. of this other pill, equivilent to the 10 mg. endos, he usually gets 150. but was given 75 of those 20 mgs. ## I'm sorry, but I'm somewhat confused by your post. I can't find any tablets with both 203 and 230 on it that are listed in any prescription drug database, including the listings for Oxycodone. Can you please post back and clarify? Like I said, I believe I am just misunderstanding your description of the imprint and would like to clear it up, so I know where to look. Thanks! ## round yellow pill with a V or an A on one side and the number 230 on the other side. ## ...
3 REPLIES Filed under Percocetabut the size of an aspirin on pale yellow with a g on one side and 230 the other side ## Hi, Sister! I think that what you thought was a G is actually the logo used by Alvogen, Inc., which is a Chinese C. It contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Oxycodone and is a generic for Percocet, which is a narcotic analgesic. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation and drowsiness. Learn more Percocet details here. Is there anything else I can help with?
1 REPLY Filed under AspirinI want to know what is the difference between the yellow oxycodone 10mg with a p and 230 on it. And the pink oxycodone with np and 12 on it? What's the difference between those two pills?? ## Both pills contain 10mgs of Oxycodone... However the yellow one also contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen (aka Tylenol). Additionally, there are also differences in the lists of inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) that make up each tablet's composition. The yellow tablet contains: corn starch povidone k30 lactose monohydrate crospovidone stearic acid D & C Yellow No. 10 The pink tablet contains: magnesium stearate microcrystalline cellulose silicon dioxide stearic acid D & C Red No. 27 D & C Red No. 30 aluminum hydroxide I hope this info helps!
1 REPLY Filed under OxycodoneMy last 2 months of taking Alvogen 10/325 are turning faint yellow and look like they have been in water as the shape and medicine doesn't seem to be that effective. Can you tell me why the pill is changing its color and not effective as of 3 months ago? I may have been taking the Watson brand or some other brand. ## Hi Judy, Are you meaning to say that the new prescription is yellow when you get them filled or that the pills gradually turn yellow [perhaps through oxidation or other unknown causes] while you have them in your possession? If the latter, I think that is really strange and this is probably the first time I've heard of something like that happening to any pharmaceutical. If I were you I'd consider contacting the pharmacy who filled your prescription and ask them...
1 REPLY Filed under OxycodoneI read this information about the pills on here and people want to make you think your crazy about medicine you have been taking for years. Like I have been taking the WATSON brand Oxycodone 10/325 for years and 1 always worked. It was the only pain med I was taking. I get up in the morning and hurt so bad I would take 1 and with in 15 minutes I felt I could make it through the day. I always had some left over every month. On Jan 2014 I went to get my meds filled and all the sudden no one seems to have the WATSON brand so I got stuck with ACTAVIS brand pill A333 on it for the whole month of Jan I hurt so bad then in Feb I told my Dr when I got my Prescription he told me to try another pharmacy. I did and I got the ALVOGEN Pill Yellow 230 and the same thing. it worked a little better but...
29 REPLIES Filed under OxycodoneI have two different yellow c 230s side by side and with the 230 straight across lined up side to side and flip perfectly around and the c's don't line up and one has specs of something and looks old and the are not hard hard nor do they snap when broken. ...? ??? ## The pill description you provided is indicative of generic 10/325 Oxycodone HCL + Acetaminophen; made by Alvogen. For verification, the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 47781-230. I don't know how they feel or what they look like when they're broken, but if you received these from a licensed pharmacy, you can be sure they are real. The NDC link also contains a list of inactive ingredients. I hope this helps!
