This capsule contains 300mgs of Gabapentin, which is an anticonvulsant that's also used to treat some mood disorders and certain types of nerve pain, so no, it will not get anyone high. Its normal side effects may include nausea, dizziness, weight changes and mood swings. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Gabapentin is the generic name for Neurontin which originally was a treatment for convulsions but was also found to be a treatment for nerve pain. I take this drug for nerve pain..it will make you sleepy when you first start taking it, but no, it will not make you feel high. Not like taking a narcotic pain reliever such as hydrocodone or oxycodone. This is not a narcotic pain reliever.
