Round, blue with just a 2 imprint? ## The look of the pill and the imprint will actually vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, since the drug is available not in a generic form. This, it is impossible to say which pill you have unless you provide the imprint, then I can look it up for you. There are many generic manufacturers and each one of them will make a pill that looks different. There are no rules saying that pills with the same ingredient have to look the same! The size, color, shape and imprint will all vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. The only relevant regulations from the FDA state that they must have unique imprints for identification purposes, but these will even differ by manufacturer and strength of the med. What do it look like my doctor say i need to be taking 5mg ## You would need to take more than 1 pill if your Doctors want you to take 5 mg as a 5 mg pill isn't available. Is this per day. I have a X|ANA|X 2 XANAX 2 mg bar with a big 2 and with a little 2 and says xanax on both bars 2mg. Can you tell me which 1 is fake a which 1 is real. I do know the fake one has a sleeping agent to make you sleepy but doesn't have the same affect that the real xanax 2mg bar has. My nanny is 83 and is taking these way too often. She is only supposed to take them once a day but she takes them multiple times a day then falls and is getting hurt but she's only been taking them for a few days so it's not like she's addicted to them.
