If so, there shouldn't be any issues unless the pharmacy made a mistake or changed the manufacturer without informing you. The color of a medication doesn't usually have anything to do with its formulation since different manufacturers design their pills differently. Is everything else normal other than the color? ( ie: shape, size, imprint etc..) If you ordered the Xanax online, then there is definitely a possibility of the pills being "fake" or unsafe. The yellow bars that have R039 are generics the way you can tell if any generic Xanax are real is by the number and when you put it in your mouth you get a bad taste right away if you don't taste nothing then they are fake or cut down with something and for the white ones as well they have to have a G 3722 and the actual Xanax will have Xanax on it with a 2 on the back but to test every Xanax you put them in your mouth and get a bad taste right away and won't dissolve that fast ## Thanks for the heads up ace! I have two pills with the same P 039 imprints. They identify as purepac 2mg. Alprozam. What I can't figure out is why they don't look the same. The color is slightly different, but it is very noticeable when compared side by side. One is a brighter yellow and the other looks more orange. The brighter yellow pill is very similar in length, but it appears to be almost twice as tall next to the yellow/orange pill. ## Did you mean the bar with the R 039 imprint? So, if anyone is questioning the identification of a tablet, along with the color and basic description, for an accurate identification, please also include any markings that may be on the tablet or capsule. Pharmacy ordered 2 mg white wavy pill that is twice the size of a normal USA Xanax prescription pill. On one side it reads XANAX and is scored in 2 places and the other side reads 2 and scored in half. The order was for 2 mg Xanax and on the container it reads Xanax 2 mg- Alprazolam, however below the bar code in tiny letters it reads Xanax-Alprazolam 1 mg. This was ordered by mail. Manufacturers date is 02/2010 and Expiration date is 03/2013. ## Where they ordered from a legitimate U.S. pharmacy that required a prescription, or from a foreign source that didn't require one? From your description, it seems they are different than the regular U.S. 2mg Xanax bars, but are similar to what some others have reported receiving when ordering in this manner.

I have two different bars.. one has a smaller imprint of G 3722 ... I have found that this particular bar breaks apart much easier than my other bar.. the other bar has the normal size imprint of G 3722 ... is the smaller imprinted pill a fake? ## @Tomboy, In most cases I've read about on this site, the bars that break apart & crumble easily, often tend to be the fake ones. And based on what you consider to be the "normal" size imprint, I think that accurately sets the standard for what is visibly acceptable as real. Anything that doesn't match what was dispensed by a licensed pharmacy has obviously been counterfeited. So this would also include your pill with a smaller imprint. If you did mean "R 3 0 9", then unfortunately it would most likely be a counterfeit pill... and I don't think it'd be worth the risk of taking. I need to know what a full yellow Xanax bar weighs. I had 30 yellow bars get wet and become one, I been eating by guessing compared to when I have crushed them. But its not cutting it. Also I received the bars imprinted with GG 249 and some of them were a tad bit shorter than the normal ones and when layed flat next to each other the shorter ones were a bit more rounded. Does anybody know if the manufacturer changed the size of these alprazolam tablets or is it possible that the shorter ones are fake? I would also really like to know how these tabs are supposed to be ingested, are they meant to be swallowed whole, placed on tongue and swallowed after being dissolved or do they need to be dissolved completely under the tongue without swallowing??? numbers on one side ,size of a xanax bar ## I am sorry, but without knowing what those numbers are and anything else the imprint may entail, there is no way I can identify this for you. It is the imprint that identifies prescription medications, the size, shape and color do not actually mean anything. If you can post back with this additional information, I will gladly look it up for you to see what it is!
