Wikoryl Tablet Dose For Child

Can 250 mg of wikoryl be given to an 8 year old child? My child is suffering from a cold and runny nose; also he has a little temperature. ## My seven and half year daughter suffering from cold cough last one week. M giving wikoryl from five days but didn't relief should i continue wikoryl or stop now plz suggest me ## I am suffering from cold/cough and body pain from a throat infection and 98 degree fever. I am currently taking wikdryl tablets daily (1 tablet). Can I give it to my 8yr old son who is also suffering from the above mentioned symptoms? Plz suggest.

Did your doctor not provide you with any dosing instructions? From the amounts in each teaspoon, it sounds like that would be a dose, one 5ml teaspoon for a child of that age.
