So recently I received a white Watson 853 that looks identical to the yellow ones; size, shape, imprint. Everything checks out except it does not feel as strong as the yellow. I was then told that Watson is not manufacturing yellow ones anymore so I checked the Watson/actavis website. They had no info on white 853. Are these fake? ## Hi Michael, Where a bouts did you get the pill from? If you didn't purchase it from an authorized seller, you could most definitely have a counterfeit. The only other thing I can think of, is that it may just be an old version that is no longer on the market. I believe Actavis pharmaceuticals now owns Watson pharmaceuticals so here is a link to the contact page of Actavis Pharma's website if you'd like to ask them about the pill you have: actavi...

I'm young an have to take these white hydrocodone pills (two at a time) I'm scared I will be " messed up " like all my friends are saying? I need help.. ## Hi, True! How are you? What do you mean by saying that you 'have' to take them? Even if your doctor has prescribed them, that doesn't mean that you are obligated to take them, that decision is ultimately up to you. And I am also not sure what you mean by 'messed up'? Could you please post back and clarify? Learn more Vicodin details here. Have you discussed your concerns with your doctor?

My generic lorcet {Watson 503} have always been pale green. My refill, which is the same medication {strength, shape and mfg.}, but they are white and I believe they had a different imprint. For years I've been legitimately prescribed this medication for pain managment after a Cage was put in my lower back due to degenerative disc disease~surgery was unsucessful for pain relief. Thank You in advance for any information...Peace ## Without knowing the imprint on them, I can't check them for you, to see if they are the same medication or not. However, what I can tell you is that it may be just the color that has changed. Watson has recently begun removing the dye from some of their tablets, due to the fact that it was causing sensitivities in some people and there were some who wer...

I just picked up my RX for generic Lortab and was told that lortab will no longer be made, I am a chronic pain sufferer and I have severe back pain along with severe nerve damage, I have been on this medicine for a while now and it works for me, now I have to ask my doctor about some other medicine that may or may not work. I dont know what else that I can use or tolerate. I need information on other types of medicines in this group. ## It will still be made. The tylenol will be lower but the hydrocodone will be in 5, 7.5 and 10 mg. Sometime in 2014 hydrocodone combination products will become Schedule II which means no refills, rx has to be written can't be called in, etc. They will still make it, it is too big of a money maker for the pharmaceutical companies. ## Hello, Vicki! large white tab with 784 ## I have a bottle of pills that are large, round, and imprinted with Watson 784 on them. I don't know what they are for. ## These tablets are listed as containing 350mgs of Carisoprodol, which is a generic for Soma. It is a muscle relaxant that is used to treat the pain and discomfort associated with muscle sprains, strains, and spasms. Found.. White pill imprint Watson 540.. 10 Mg...? Usually they are blue:10mg/500 hydrocodone/acephatamine Different color same imprint? Same thing or not? Usually they have different imprints or why change color..? ## It's interesting you mentioned that because "most" of the images I found have been oval blue pills. I did however come across a legitimate photo of the one you're describing (elliptical, white, imprinted with WATSON 540) at: rxlist.com/vicodin-hp-drug/patient-images-side-effects.htm NOTE: the dosage of the white pill is confirmed to be the same as the blue pill (500mgs of Acetaminophen + 10mgs of Hydrocodone). Manufacturer: Watson Laboratories, Inc. Although the way a pill looks is entirely up to the whit and whim of the company making it, it would definite...

i ordered 400 mg acyclovir and the white oval pill stamped watson 335 which i received is different from the previous ones i got, which were blue oval pills stamped 400 on one side and no43 on the other. is this 400mg of acyclovir? ## Yes, this tablet contains 400mgs of Acyclovir, a generic for Zovirax, it is just manufactured by a different company. Many companies will order from whomever has the cheapest drugs, so they do not always carry the same generics from the same manufacturers.

Is there any type of herb that can be used that will do the same as the ativan ## Hello, Cynthia! How are you? There are some available, such as Ashwagandha, but since they are only classified by the FDA as supplements, there is no proof that they actually work, though some people swear by them. They are also not known to be habit forming, like the benzodiazepines and they seem to cause far less side effects. You can certainly try something, if your doctor approves. Are you on any other medications? ## Can you purchase this over the counter vitamin (Ashwanganda) in the health food store?

How long is watson 357 good for? ## There's actually a lot of conflicting information around the topic of expired medication, but according to a Harvard Medical School family health article, except in rare cases (i.e. tetracycline), there is little chance of danger due to taking medications even up to 15 years beyond their expiration date. This conclusion was based upon a study conducted at the request of the US military due to stockpiles of expensive drugs they could otherwise need to replace every few years. The conclusion was that 90% of those drugs remained effective 10 - 15 years after the expiration date. But the question is whether or not the drug you have happens to be one of these drugs from the study... (I have not seen the list of drugs used in this study). Source: health...

I have always taken the Watson 853 yellow pill and for some reason I was just given Watson 853 white pills. What is going on? Why the color difference? ## It seems from other posts made on here recently that Watson is just removing the dyes from some of their products. There have been some complaints from people that have had sensitivity or allergic reactions to them, so they have been doing away with them. However, as long as the imprint is the same and your pharmacy has listed it as being the same medication and the same dosage, then you shouldn't have any reason to worry. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Not the same for sure! ## I have experienced poor results with the white pills. Watson 825 on an oblong white pill, please ID. ## This tablet contains 650mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone, so it's a generic for Percocet. It is a narcotic, so it does have the potential to be habit forming. (NDC 0591-0825). Inactive Ingredients: - Silicon Dioxide - Magnesium Stearate - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - Starch, Corn - Stearic Acid - Croscarmellose Sodium - Povidones Another note that needs to be added here is that as of 2013, the FDA has made a request that all manufacturers lower the amount of Acetaminophen in these combination prescription products to no more than 325mgs per dose. There are serious concerns about the dangers of liver damage and failure that can be associated with long-term use of high amounts, as well as the toxicity of overdose. Some ma...
