The medicine I have is a round white pill with an R at the top, a line in the center of it, then a P below the line; and on the other side it has 20. It's a small white round pill but nowhere near as small as the pink 10 MG ones or the light green 20 MG pills. ## Hello, Patty! How are you? The size of a tablet is dependent upon which inactive ingredients the manufacturer has chosen to use, some are bulkier than others. The FDA has a list that they can pick from, so they can use whichever ones are needed that they can obtain for the best price, thus, size is actually irrelevant. This tablet is manufactured by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 20mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. The FDA classifies this as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potenti...

What kind is this ## Hey the pills with RP on one side and 10 325 on the other side are generic percocets containing 10mg of oxycodone and 325mg of acetaminophen. Hope this helps
Little round white pill with RP132 on one side and nothing on the back. Trying to see if it's adhd medication. ## "R P" on a pill is often indicative of products made by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals. Is the RP 10 325 pill comprised of layers on the RP side that start to peel off? The other side is fine and not peeling. ## Have you tried contacting the manufacturer (Rhodes Pharmaceuticals) about this? Just for verification, the imprint implies that it's a generic Oxycodone (10mg) + Acetaminophen (325mg) tablet, with a National Drug Code of 42858-104. Unfortauntely, my findings only go so far as mentioning the list of inactive ingredients: Silicon Dioxide Magnesium Stearate Povidone K30 Crospovidone Corn Starch Stearic Acid Water However you can also view a photograph of it at: rhodespharma.com/products Judging from the image therein I'd speculate that it has some sort of coating with a mild glossy or matte finish.
White round with RP 10 325 imprinted on it - Is this a percocet? ## @Ricky, I've seen a white round pill with R P 30 listed as Oxycodone 30mgs. However the "10/325" (if it is confirmed to be part of the imprint on your pill) would generally signify the presence of Acetaminophen along with 10mgs of either Hydrocodone or Oxycodone; but this remains to be verified. Now the RP imprint I know stands for "Rhodes Pharmaceuticals", so one thing you could do is contact them directly for more specific details on the tablet description/identity. Their main phone number is listed as (401) 262-9200; or you can also try reaching customer service at 888-827-0616. I hope this helps! ## I have round white pill with RP 10 on it. Is this the same thing? ## Yes it is oxycodone 10/325. N...

THIS WHITE ROUND PILL MAKES ME SICK, AND DOES NOT DO MUCH FOR PAIN. CAN I TAKE THEM BACK AND GET A BETTER GENERIC? GOING TO MY DOCTOR MONDAY, BECAUSE THESE PILLS ARE NO GOOD, AND I'M IN PAIN, AND JUST GOT SICK FROM ONE!!!! I KNOW THERE MADE FROM RHODES PHARMACENTICIALS. ## Carl, Unfortunately federal law prohibits the return of any drug once the transaction is complete; there are no refunds, returns, or exchanges for safety purposes. You will need to have your doctor write a new script and explain why it's a duplicate or your pharmacy may refuse to honor it since according to your last script it should have lasted x amount of days regardless of the reason. Regulations for controls are extremely stringent as to when a substance can be filled. I hope your doctor accommodates your ...
I have been prescribed 10mg oxycodone for the passed 2 years, 4x daily and have never had any problem with the ones I usually get (pink). This last rx the pharmacy gave me the RP 10s made by Rhodes Pharm. And I have never had a oxycodone make me so sick, sweating nausea, headache, chills. And to top it off no pain relief what so ever. Is it me or has anybody else had the same experience? I was wondering if the pharmacy could replace them. Any suggestions? ## Hi Carolyn, Sorry to hear about your situation and being stuck with inferior pain medication. From what I've seen in related threads here on MedsChat, many other patients expressed similar feelings surrounding the efficacy and side effects of this Rhode's product. Unfortunately, pharmacies don't typically allow patients ...

Can you tell me if the formulary might have changed? ## This tablet is manufactured by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Since this is a generic medication, it is manufactured by several different companies, which creates market competition to help keep prices down. Which one your pharmacy may carry, at any given time, depends on what company was offering the cheapest price, at the time they needed to restock their supply. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. My doctor has prescribed me 10 MG oxycodone for last few years due to chronic pain. However, they were always the round pink one's that had HCL on bottle. New one's I got today are white round one's that now say RHO, what's the difference? ## Hi Karen, The round white pill that have R over P on one side and 10 on the other are made by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals. I haven't found any information on the one's that are imprinted with "RHO", but I get the sense that this could possibly be an abbreviation for Rhodes Pharmaceuticals as well. To be 100% sure, you can contact Rhodes directly at 401-262-9400. If they do turn out to be the same 10mg oxycodone tablet, I would imagine that any differences would probably be found within the list of inactive ingredients, si...

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, dry mouth, and constipation. ## I usually get my oxycodone 10 mg filled at Walgreens. Are the 325 10 rp better than the a3333? ## I live in south Florida & these are the common 10mg Percocets I've come across. The RP's are not effective at all, and are weak. the A333's are DESCENT for pain relief, and personally are OK. I find the yellow circles with C230 are best besides the pink roxies or endocets. ## Yes the ingredients didn't make me sick, but I got zero relief w a 333, I'd give the rp a 6 /10, the Alvogen are 8/10, ... but I was in s. Fl I haven't seen the rp s sincemid 2016 ## According to the FDA, the inactive ingredients in these RP 10 325 pills by Rhodes are as follows: pregelatinized corn starch crospovidone povidone magnesium stearate colloidal silicon dioxide stearic acid Something else to keep in mind upon comparison with other ta...

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## What element appears key here is failure of timely and/or appropriate absorbtion. For those who experience events of hyperemesis, one could try taking with meals or even before a lite snack, a glass of milk or hot beverage. Since having also found Rhodes' effacasy far less desirable than others, it obviously it is highly sought to assure both prop...

How are the 10mg oxycodone made by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals compared to other brands? ## Hi Shizz, According to NIH, the 10mg oxycodone tablets (that are white, round, & scored, with "R" over "P") made by Rhodes, contain the equivalent of 9 mg of free base oxycodone. Ref: dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/drugInfo.cfm?setid=a5162476-1217-41c0-bc7e-0a0f123f069f So in terms of potency, it apparently doesn't contain what a 10mg Rx label says it does, which is really corrupt marketing in my opinion… Especially towards those who are switching from another brand that may have more or less (unknowingly setting the stage for withdrawal symptoms from tapering). I suppose they think the extra milligram will come in the form of placebo. Next, in terms of inactive ingredient...
