White Oval Pills With No Markings

I take Lipitor (now Atorvastatin generic) and Atenelol on a daily basis. I always take pills out of PX. bottles and put into special container away from children. As there are many generics around, I have mixed up my pills and I now have a white oval shaped (almost flat) pill and I do not know for which it is a substitute. Silly I know but if anyone one knows of a substititute for either of these drugs that comes as described above without any markings whatever, please let me know. ## It's not a prescription tablet, all such tablets dispensed in the U.S. have to have imprints to enable their identification. a large oval shaped whit tablet ## I am sorry, but if there are no markings, it will be virtually impossible to positively identify, unless you would pay to have it lab tested. There are many pills on the market that match this description, they include foreign medications, over the counter items and nutritional supplements. Sorry, I wish I could help more!

When looking at it vertically, it has an indention running all the way around. It was found in my grandmother's (who was in a retirement home at the time) pill container that seperated her pills into morning noon and night. ## I found a small oval white gel capsule looking exactly as you described - no markings other than an indentation running lenghtwise around the capsule. Absolutely no number or letters on either side. Half white half light green ## If there are no markings, it is going to be almost impossible to positively identify. The only thing we can say for sure is that it is not a legal, U.S. prescription medication. However, it could be any one of a large number of over the counter items. Does anyone else have any ideas?

its white, oval shaped, rph 285x on one side , and an indented straight groove on the other ## For a very long time, we purchased stool softeners that were oval shaped, red on one side, white on the other. We can't find them any longer and they were the very best. ## Regarding my question concerning being unable to find the stool softener I wanted, we found it at QFC (grocery store chain). It's made by Kroger and works better in that it does not hurt your stomach, whereas all the other one's tend to irritate the stomach and esophagus. I think the red and white capsule has a much thicker coating on it so it can get to your upper G.I. before wearing off. Problem solved - hope that helped someone else ;)

Just found white oval soft gel no outside lettering or markings with an orange substance in the inside. Any ideas what this could be? ## Hi Bean, Honestly there's no way to really identify something that has no markings, unless you get it lab tested. But based on your description, I get the sense that this is more than likely some sort of dietary supplement, such as omega-3 fish oil, vitamin E, or some other OTC medication. I can only say that because I have actually seen certain fish oil and vitamin supplements both come in gel capsules like that. Did you just happen to find this pill somewhere or were you sold it?

I found this in my medicine cabinet. It might be more than 3 year old. It is oval with a smaller vertical oval in middle so it's easier to cut in half . Apart from D and N engraved on either side of the vertical oval ,there are no other markings. The pill is about the size of Bayer aspirin 325. Thanks

Suppose to be Gabapentin 600MG ## That is correct, I did find an information sheet that lists the markings on their tablets and this matches the marking and description of their 600mg one. I have a white, oval shaped pill. It has the letters "a" and "p" in lowercase on one side. On the other side, there are 4 intertwined circles with no other markings or numbers, but it did come in one of those foil packets. I would greatly appreciate the help!

I found them in a house i was working in and I just wanna know what they are ## Hi butterball, Based on your description, it sounds to me like the depiction of a 37.5 mg Phentermine tablet, prescribed for weight loss. If you were to run a google image search for "phentermine hcl blue speckled 37.5mg" you'll be able to get a visual of what I'm referring to. I located many white oblong pills with 500 on one side, but they also have logo's or a number, or a letter on the other side.
