On and off antidepressants for 20 some odd years. Some work better than others. The last one I was prescribed was Cymbalta a new one for depression and it just didn't seem show any improvement on my fatigue or my get up. Today I started on Oxazepam, does anyone know anything about that? New and needing help ## Oxazepam is a benzodiazepine that is most commonly used to treat anxiety, and for its sedative like effects. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, irritability, mood changes, and drowsiness. I am perscribed 50mgs of trmadol 3xdaily and 15mg of oxazepam what kind of feeling will I get? ## Hello, Sassyfrassy! How are you? Both of these medications tend to cause sedation, so combining them may intensify that effect and you may end up feeling very tired, dizzy and drowsy. It would be best not to drive or operate machinery, until you know how they actually affect you. They both also carry the risk of being habit forming and you may experience side effects, such as nausea, dry mouth, irritability and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

My Rheumatologist says that it is unnecessary to withdraw from Oxazepam 15mg. (see above Topic for dosage) and merely substitute with a lesser dosage of Difucan (10mg. @ 4-6 hours daily) as they are "the same drug"! I have been taking this Oxazepam dosage for 25 years+. Now I am following his instructions and having major withdrawal miserable symptoms. Any suggestions? ## There is no medication called Difucan, the closest is Diflucan and, if that's what you have, then I don't think you're taking the right medication, because it is an antifungal medication. Learn more Diflucan details here. I think you may want to double check everything, because the medication she intended to prescribe for you may have been Diazepam, which would be an equivalent medication. Learn mor...

Is it safe to take 100 mg trazodone with 40 mg oxazepam for sleep? ## Has your doctor instructed you to do so? Taking them together can increase the risk of depression of the central nervous system, which may cause shallow breathing, lowered heart rate and lowered blood pressure. It doesn't mean they can't be used together, but it should only be done under a doctor's approval and supervision. Learn more: ## NO. I take the trazodone to help me sleep. If anyone knows what they are, that would be great... ## G and OM15? Is that correct? If they are from Australia, they may be hard to track down, not all foreign medications are logged like American ones. I will keep looking though, in other databases. Mallinckrodt hydrocodone/apap pills several years ago changed. This sounds like a similar thing to what used to be the caplet (large) shaped pills; M 0367 is now the M367 10/325mg tablet. I believe that they all changed to the same size and shape, dropping initial '0'. Some codes went out of use, most changed inbthe way described, but this tablet, if one og those, is unlikely to be of use, those things having changed well over 15 years ago. Advice; email Covidien. When in doubt... I did the same with Aspen re: Pax diazepam and Purata oxazepam, recently changed, and received courteous reply reassuring me within 48 hours. Write! ## The marking on the pill in question is often misinterpreted, since it can be hard to read on the small tablet, but it is actually M 0552 and the tablet...

I have been getting my alprazolam substituted with Sandoz 2 mg tabs which do zi[/nada/nothing and Aurobindo 1 mg ER tabs which are also useless. I've had a bad experience with Sandoz and oxazepam before. CVS says Greenstone is discontinued but my independent pharmacy says they are being produced but I have to pay $35 for the Rx because my Part D drug insurance "only reimburses them a few dollars". CVS initially promised me Teva (2mg) and Greenstone 1 mg ER. After getting Sandoz and Aurobindo, they say that their stock varies from day to day and whatever the supplier sends to them that day is what I get. How screwed up is that? ## That is the way it always has worked. You can't order specific generic brands from the pharmacy, and they can't promise you anything. Do yo...
