Is there any particular reason you need the 2 mg bar? ## If you want i'll describe the differences in the bars.... there is no double dose.... just name brand legit 2mg, and generics which sacrifice some strength. How can I quater a green bar? They only break into 3's? ## These bar shaped pills are generally only meant to be broken into 3's. In this case you'd probably have to measure out your own lines before cutting it into four sections. Alternatively, I would suggest discussing this "dosage issue" with your doctor, so that you don't have to keep cutting your pills into four sections in order to get a small enough dose. From what I could tell, there are plenty of different dosage options available for Xanax. You may want to consider switching over to lesser strength if breaking the pill becomes too much of a hassle. I get anxiety a lot when I'm at home or at stores when I'm around a lot of people I get frustrated a lot too and I can't consatrate ## It is best when you see your Doctor that you don't ask for a particular color or strength. Let the provider decide what is right for you! ## @ignacio, Eddy is right. Many doctors will see it as a red flag if you go straight into asking them for something as widely abused as xanax. However I don't think it will lessen your chance of getting prescribed xanax if you just describe how your anxiety has been affecting your ability to participate in normal daily activities. Dava Xanax 0.5 mg SUCKS! They're yellow ovals marked with an S and 901. They've been sued by Justice department in the past (2010) for distributing drugs that were half strength. We normally take 1.5 mg qd, but are allocated #3 tabs 0.5 mg qd. Even taking #3 we had no effect. What ever company makes oval peach coloured tabs have always been efficacious.
