I am 22 years old and have been on vyvanse for about 3 years now. I was originally on 30 MG...then up to 50 MG....now i have been at 70 MG for about 2 years. The main reason im taking it is to help concentration in college. This however, is my last year in school and im really scared to stop taking it. On days that i have none available in the morning due to prescription issues...i feel very weird. I feel sad...on the verge of crying for NO REASON.I feel like i cant think straight and i cant even wake up all the way until i had it. Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can share their experience switching from Vyvanse 70mg once daily to Mydayis (50mg) and if it is a better medication as opposed to Vyvanse? I took a 70mg vyvanse a day before my hernia repair surgery at 12 pm will I be OK for surgery at 1 pm the following day ## When you make an appointment to go into surgery you're supposed to inform the surgeon of any medications you are taking or planning on taking during the procedure. This is especially important if you want to avoid possible interactions with anesthetics or other strong medications. I recently moved to the Phillipines for year job. My doctor wrote a Rx for vyvanse before I left the US and said I could get it filled in the PI. So far I cannot find anyone who even knows what this drug is. Does anyone know where, in the Phillipines, I can get this filled. I live in Cebu, but can travel if needed. ## I don't know where you can get it filled, but if it's available there, it may be under a different brand name, or as a generic. Should my friend go to the emergency room? Between yesterday and the day before my friend ingested 280mg and about 140mg of vyvanse. she hasn't been to sleep for two days now, she isn't prescribed them so she doesn't take them on the daily. She still couldn't sleep last night so ita two full days shes been awake and can't really eat. According to the dosing information on the Vyvanse site, the maximum dose that should be taken per day is 70 mg. I highly recommend speaking with a doctor before taking a higher amount.

Hello everyone, I have ADHD, I'm not on adderall 30mg.one and a half daily. Ya crazy dosage my doctor has me on..its all started a few months ago when in my area the adderall 20mg has been on backorder, all I know is all the pharmacy's within 20 miles around me says they have only been able to get the 10mg or 30mg. Since my scripts he wrote were for 20mg x2 day..I went to his office with the 20mg script and exchange it for 30mg. my 8 year old has been prescribed Vyvanse in addition to his Risperdal. the first time he took a whole capsule was terrifying. He couldn't respond to us, couldn't sit up did not remember how to drink from a cup. I now split them in half and only gets one half per day. The dosage is 30 mg when whole. I have done the one thing I say I will not do every month with my vyvanse. I got 2 prescriptions filled this week one for 50 and one for 60. Now here it is day 4 that I have almost taken all of it. I am always looking for that ultimate high but it always ends up like this. The initial high is gone and now I feel like crap. I have barely slept or eaten and I am trying to get get past this stage of the crash. I am trying to hydrate and I am taking my normal meds prozac,lunesta,xanax. I do not want to keep with the cycle of smoking all day not eating and then having to take extra xanax and drink to go to sleep knowing I will feel worse in the morning. Hello all, I am a 21 yo male and I have been on Vyvanse for close to four months now. I was prescribed 30mg pills for ADHS at the begging of the summer and really noticed a huge difference in my overall performance at work and in dealing with people. After two months I noticed the effects seemed to taper off earlier throughout the day and only last around 5-6 hours. I then decided to take one pill in the morning and one at mid day as to combat this "come down" earlier on. At the end of 15 days I was out of the drug due to working many days straight and not taking breaks form my medication. I have also lost a good portion of my appetite (which is okay, as I'm somewhat overweight. 6'5" 280 lbs, though I am also an offensive lineman for the high school). How long do these effects last? I have two kinds of vyvanse...one is 30mg and the other is 50mg. Now i want to know if they are real cuz the powder inside isn't bitter. In fact its bittersweet. Not overly sweet. I've had vynanse many times. But i forgot the taste. Anybody know the real taste of vyvanse? ## From what I could gather, legitimate Vyvanse is reported by many patients as being "bitter", and in some cases might even leave a bad metallic taste in the mouth. About five years ago, I started Vyvanse 30mg for depression. For the first couple of years, I felt wonderful. I seemed to have more energy, felt more social, and lost weight effortlessly. What wasn't to like? Then, the med became less effective and my dose was increased to 40mg. I struggled along for another year and a half, with some benefit. Then, the bottom fell out. I began to experience the very opposite of my initial effect.
