I had intercourse with my ex boyfriend and I think he gave me chlamydia, five days later I went to the doctor for a sinus infection, the doctor gave me AMOX TR-K CLV. I was wondering if the antibiotic he gave me will get rid of the chlamydia? Note: I already went to the Health Department but they told me they would have to make an appointment for next month. ## Hello, ChinaDoll! How are you? The reason they told you that is because before being treated for it, a test for Chlamydia must be done and it will not be detected immediately, it takes awhile.
