30 M ## The medication names are often misunderstood, so I like to add details to posts, whenever I can, that can clear this up and hopefully prevent some confusion. There is no medication on the market called Roxycotton or Roxicontin and there never was. This is actually a confusion of two different formulations of Oxycodone. One is a regular release of it that was originally under the name brand Roxicodone and the other is a time released formulation that's under the name brand Oxycontin. That said, while I don't have a picture to include, due to copyright reasons, yes there is a 30mg Oxycodone tablet with the marking 30 M, it's a very light blue color, round and has the 30 over a score line on one side and the M in a box on the other. I am on 30mg Roxycotin (oxycodone) 180 tablets per month. I have insurance, however, cannot find a pharmacy that has supplies of prescription (I hear many people are having this issue recently). My doctor might prescribe an alternative. I am very afraid of the alternative due to not understanding how medications translate. I fear it not being adequate for me to function and go to work. What is a viable alternative? Does anybody know. I am told dilaudid (I cannot spell the med.) Based on my research I don't see Roxicodone having any relation to this pill whatsoever. I take roxycotin 30mg about three to four times a day as well as prosac 20 mg. When i went to my doctor and told her that i was still alittle depressed and still in some pain due to degenerative disc disease, two slipped discs and bipolar/ anxiety for more then fifteen years, she suggested to me that she felt I had FIBERMYALGIA. She suggested that i start taking LYRICA. She also told me that it may cut down the use of the Roxycotins. There are some tests that will just show the presence of opiates and, if that is they type used, then that is all any of then would be detected as being. However, there are other tests that are most specific and can show the exact opiates that were taken, by analyzing their individual metabolites. I have ovarian cyst and it hurts badly ## Pain is the number one reason narcotic analgesics like Roxicodone or OxyContin are prescribed. If your doctor feels that you require pain management at this level, then I don't see why he/she wouldn't prescribe it or at least something similar. In many cases an MRI, scans, x-rays, etc., are general forms of proof to vouch for your medical needs. So If you have any medical documents of that nature, I would recommend bringing them with you to your appointment for further evaluation and a conclusive decision will then be made as to what approach should be taken from there. I snorted half a roxy 30 last night and got a random drug test at work this morning. It was a oral eze test and said it tested for amph., cociane, methamph., opiates(codeine, hydrocodone, hydromorphones, heroin), thc(pot) and pcp.
