I went to a pill mill in Alabama and I say this because they never examined me, he wrote out 30 Roxi and Oxycontin 40 for breakthru pain. Now the pain clinic I go to as my back has worsened since yrs ago, wont even give perc 10. and its only 60 the whole month, what? I am in alot of pain, this guy did trigger injections but says he doesnt want me hooked on strong meds at my age, Im 38! I was given Percocet 10/325 when discharged from the ER for a bulging disc resulting in BIG paun. Roxicet 10+325 compared to Percocet 10-325 MG. Any opinion which is the more effective for pain management? I have been on Percocet 10-325 MG for quite some time. I have been told there are various formulations of the chemical combination that are, for some, more effective than others. There are so many. They have an M on one side and numbers on the other. However, I cannot confirm that this is what your pill is, without knowing what those additional numbers are. what does a 10mg roxy look like? ## There is no Roxicodone, which would be the regular release formulation of Oxycodone, in a 10mg tablet. Roxicodone is only available in 5, 15 or 30mg tablets. I don't have a picture to post for you, due to copyright reasons, but I can give you some descriptions and markings. There is a 10mg Oxycontin tablet, that should have the marking of OP on one side and 10 on the other, the other tablets had OC on on side and 10 on the other and they are both white. But by comparison, Percocet is known to come in dosages containing up to 10mg of Oxycodone hydrochloride + 325mg of Acetaminophen. And even though some manufacturers tend to vary by strength, I would say that it all depends on what dosage of Percocet you get, since it is available in 2.5mg/325mg dosages as well. i have been taking 8 to 10 of these a day and i want to ween off. any suggestions? ## hi nikirenee....i have found that the only thing that helped me with getting off of any opiate medication is suboxone...it saved my life!!! ## And I have also found methadone is good to just don't go to a major dose of that either it will help you 100% ## Aside from what the other posts mentioned, usually for drugs like this the safest way to stop taking them is to tapper off them, if possible. Some medications can be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several weeks until the body is no longer dependent upon them. Which is stronger oxycontin sr 15mg ter or Oxycodone hcl 10mg ## The 15mg dosage would be stronger, since you'd be getting a higher amount. However, from the information in your post. how they work for someone may be different, because of the difference in the formulation. Oxycontin is a time released formulation that is designed to slowly release that 15mgs over a period of 12 hours.
