I am taking myrin p forte and I am noticing that my urine color is red and my hands and feet remain hot which irritate me. And I feel hot every time. I want to use an airconditioner at 23 degrees while I am living in pakistan. It is summer. My doctor advised me to take 5 tablets of myrin p forte with vita 6 tablets one hour before breakfast. It is very tough for me. Is myrin p helpful for me to overcome tb? My left elbow was infected by tb. myrin p tablet ## Myrin P Forte contains 275mgs of Ethambutol, 150mgs of Rifampin, 75mgs of INH and 400mgs of Pyrazinamide, it is an antituberculosis medication. The dosage varies: >71 kg 5 tab/day, 55-70 kg 4 tab/day, 40-54 kg 3 tab/day. pink pill ## Sorry this drug isn't listed in any of the U.S. databases and other countries do not regulate their medications as strictly as the FDA does, so I cannot find any information on this. I am taking this drug and I want to find the shelf life if it is still safe. There's no expiration date on it. ## All prescription drugs that are tablets have a regular shelf life of 1 year from the date of dispensing. Even after that year, most are still safe to use, they just start to lose efficacy. The only ones that are dangerous to use after the expiration date are Tetracycline class antibiotics.

I took the myrin p forte before now the doctor prescribed the plain Myrin. My question is....my skin got really dark aftr taking the p forte...how about this Myrin. Bec im planning to take a lightening capsules like gluthationes to get my skin tone back! I used to have a fair skin. :-(

I took myrin p forte for 1mo (4caps in the morning everyday). After a month I saw my pulmo doctor again and gave me myrin (3x a day). I went and bought the generic instead Ethambutol 400g. Is that ok to take 3x all in the morning? ## Let me rephrase my question. Im done taking MYRIN P FORTE for 1month. Now, my Pulmo gave me a prescription to take just MYRIN for 1mo. I went and bought the ETHAMBUTOL 400g (generic) Im taking 3tablets 30mins aftr breakfast (myrin dosage). Is that ok? is rheumatism/gout a side effect of myrin p forte? My mother had swelling in her knees and hands after taking the medicine for two weeks. ## Has a doctor diagnosed her condition as gout? This medication contains Ethambutol, Rifampicin and Pyrazinamide, it is used to treat Tuberculosis. They don't cause gout themselves, however if someone already has an active case of it, they will make it worse. So, if that's what it is, it's likely that she already had it and the medication aggravated the condition.
