What Is Ferrous Forte

Because last January my two ankles were swollen and I have heel pain. I've undergone different laboratory diagnostics and x-ray's and my rheumatologist told me that I have a reactive arthritis. In my last appointment she gave me ferrous fumerrate and vit d2, along with mobic. When I asked a pharmacist he recommend neurobion forte.

Since so much of it just passes though, isn't there a better form to take that comes chelated or is absorbed better? ## Have you tried asking your doctor or pharmacist? What you do you mean by it just passing through? This is a nutritional supplement that contains Vitamin C, Folic Acid, Cyanocobalamin and ferrous fumarate. However, it really doesn't matter what it is, even when it comes to prescription drugs, there are only certain amounts that your body can absorb and use.

Im 45 years old ans has resently been diagnosed with MS and CADASIL. Im suffering of servere headaches especially on the (r) side if my head. Mostly at the back. My entire spinal cord is very painfull and get tired fast but im not allowed to use any meds other then aspirin and topamax. Im awfully very tired. Im aneamic but are not allowed to use my ferrous forte either. This is hard. Im suffering and cant live in pain permanently in a daily basis. Im just asking for one painfree day. Can synaleve help solving these problems? Please help

Is it advisable to take eltroxin same time with ferrous forte, or should there be a gap of an hour or so between the tablets. i am taking eltroxin 0.1mg, and i was found resently to have low iron and my doctor prescribed ferrous forte. my concern is to benefit from both medication and do not have one preventing the other from doing its work in me. please help. ## Actually, the Iron can cause less absorption of the Levothyroxine, so they should be taken 4 hours apart and your doctor should check your hormone levels regularly, while you are under treatment. Is there anything else I can help you with? ## 4 years post gastric bypass. Of course, I have malapsorption syndrome. My doc prescribed Ferrex 150 Forte Plus, I per day. I already take a multivitamin with 400 mcg of Folic acid, other B vitamins, and 15 mg of iron from ferrous fumarate. I wonder if I'm overdosing by taking both.
