Most antidepressants can cause these types of issues sleeping, but they usually ease off in severity after about a month, once your body has gotten used to the medication. You may also experience nausea, dizziness and weight changes.

I would like to know if Cylift can be used in helping with bio-polar? ## Cilift contains the active ingredient Citalopram, which is an SSRI antidepressant. Has your doctor advised you to use it? It isn't commonly used to treat Bipolar, but it has helped some people.

I have been using cylift for 5 years. My doctor put me on Venlor 8 months ago. I was doing well on cylift. I also take Pariet for GERD. Now with the Venlor I have increased accid reflux and a feeling of pressure between breasts. This I never had with Cylift. Can I go back to Cylift. I stopped Venlor TODAY to see if the accid reflux decreases. However, I do not want to "crash" again mentally like before when I used to take myself off medication. ## Hi Bebo, From your description, I don't see why your doctor would have any particular reason to deny you the ability to switch back over from Venlor to Cylift; especially if he can also judge that it's not the appropriate medication for you. Can Cylift cause muscle pains especialy in your upper body? ## can cylift give you headaches and constant nauteousness loss of appetite. ## I have gradually taken myself off Cylift. Its been 5 months now and have lost some weight too. People tell me everyday how well I look. My doctor told me tha new research has shown that its ok to takea tablet when feeling down or have pms. I have done so when feeling very irritated, and it seem to help. Is this true that its ok to take cylift when I need to. I am a 42 year old woman and have gained weight on a steadily basis since using cylift. My diet and exercise regime has not changed. Can cylift and drinking alcohol make you agressive? ## Cilift contains the active ingredient Citalopram, which is an SSRI antidepressant and it's possible for it to cause aggression and irritability in some people and, of course, adding alcohol to the mix may only worsen such an effect. I am a 21year old female who has been on lexamil 20mg for about 2 years,before that on almost everything from Lithium to Epilum,Cylift and Rispadel. I was diagnosed with a very low serotonin level at age 14 and have been on various medication ever since. Cilift + alcohol = Madness and unacceptable biopolar behaviour. My husband was diagnosed with chronic depression and anxiety. He is also a alcoholic. Will not stop drinking or even cut down.Obviously the madication is not working!!!! My 3 boys and I have suffered for 13years with this madness and it is getting worse.
