100 mg of sertraline foil wrapper with the word SERTIMA 100 on it. the description on the back says sunset yellow but the color is orange. Please help ## As to what they actually contain, they do claim to be 100mgs of Sertraline, however, since this is not a U.S. product, I cannot confirm that. As to the color, they are always subjective, so it doesn't really mean anything. What one person sees as red, another can see as pink and etc. The sunset, many times, is an orange shade, what they name it really doesn't matter and is more than likely just a name they thought would be pleasant and appealing. Where were these obtained?

Been on 50mg of sertraline for 4years. Four days ago after suffering server anxiety I took 100mg one day and 75mg the next.Due to feeling very spaced out and sick I have gone back to 50mg but still feel dizzy and sick. Why has this happened and when will it subside. ## Hello, Karen! How are you? For this medication to help with anxiety, it must be taken at a consistent dose for 4 to 6 weeks, so jumping up only for a day, or two won't do much more than cause more side effects, as you experienced. It may take another week, or so for things to settle back down and for you to start to feel better. If not, you should consult your doctor. Other typical side effects, as listed by the U.S. FDA, may possibly include nausea, headache, dry mouth and weight gain. How are you feeling, now? ## Th...

was on sertraline 25mg for 2 weeks with dreadful side effects. Changed to Citalopram 3 days ago. Very tired, headache, always aware of heart beat banging and feel nausous. Is this normal and when will i feel better. ## Hello, Stoneroses! How are you? I'm sorry that you're not feeling well. Yes, those symptoms can be normal, when you stop one medication and start another. As listed by he FDA, you may also experience dizziness, dry mouth, mood swings and weight changes. It may take about 3 to 5 weeks on the Sertraline, before things settle down and you start to feel better. If things don't improve by then, you should consult your doctor. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi Verwon, feeling much better thank you. Managed to ride the storm of Citalopram and still on the...

I have been on sertraline (generic of Zoloft) for ~8 months (? maybe for longer. I don't have the best memory). My current dose is 150 mg, which I've been taking for ~2 months. It's helped my anxiety but not my depression symptoms, so my psychiatrist is switching me to fluoxetine (generic of Prozac). For the first week I'm supposed to take 100 mg of sertraline and 20 mg of fluoxetine; for another week take 50 mg of sertraline and 40 mg of fluoxetine; then just take 60 mg of fluoxetine. Previously when I've switched SSRIs (with a different psychiatrist) I went completely off one before starting the other. I'm worried about the risks of taking more than one SSRI at once, does this sound dangerous or is it a safe way to switch? Has anyone done a similar thing with t...

I have used Paroxetine for more than ten years, having used another SRi for several years. Paroxetine was certainly better than the first drug prescribed (Citalopram, I think it was), but I have come off Paroxetine altogether in the last month and discovered some serious issues. I was taking 20 mg per day from the start. I read recently that Paroxetine might relate to Dementia so asked about alternatives. I was prescribed Sertraline. I stepped-down from 20 to 15 mg per day without a problem. After one week I went down to 10 mg per day for a further week, again without problem. I noticed I was able to think more clearly and my recall improved substantially. I then went to 10 mg every other day. Within three days I noticed a return of anxiety, panic and insomnia. I was even crying about my s

I've have been taking sertraline (zoloft) for years under prescription by a doctor. Now I moved to another country and decided to order it online at combitic global caplet pvt ltd in india. They delivered the pills quickly in an envelope without packaging or users information. I'm not quite sure though, this is the real thing. I've been taking the pills for 3 weeks now and I'm not really sure they work. I sometimes have these contracting sensations at my temples that are typical for depression and that I usually don't have with sertraline. Anyone with some input? ## Are there any markings on the tablets? That is what would enable someone to research them for you to see what they contain. The FDA classifies Sertraline as an SSRI antidepressant and lists its typical si...

I take 15mg of buspar 3X a day.Now my pharmacy is telling me there supplier is back logged with orders of buspar, and it will be at least 4 weeks before they will carry it again, and I should find a replacement for it.Does anyone know of a medication I could Use in place of buspar? ## I just wanted to make a change to my former post.It should read "a back log of 4 month's not weeks" Thanks, Rick ## Holy cow, that would be a long time to go without. And as to what else might be able to replace it, there are quite a few antidepressants that can treat anxiety, such as Zoloft, which contains the active ingredient Sertraline. Learn more Zoloft details here. Another option would be a Benzodiazepine, such as Xanax. Learn more Xanax details here. Has your doctor made any suggestions?

Found pills with A 82 imprint in another product. The color is white, form oblong, the logo looks like the A of Aurobindo Pharma. I searched for hours but I wasn't able to find it on the internet. ## Sertraline 100mg for depression ## Just got my Zoloft 100mg filled and it is a scored yellowish oblong tablet with A on one side and 1 8 on the obverse. Normally it is an oval shaped, lighter yellow with 100 mg on one side & Teva on the other. Now I'm scared to take it because I've never heard of Aurobindo before, and don't know where they're from. I worry about out of country manufacturers and safety of medication. My pharmacy is closed and I don't know what to do. Guess I'll just skip it tonight and call them in the morning. Is it OK to skip a dose? ## I go...

Anybody tried ALPROX brand 2mg bars? The ones I saw carried the same Actavis imprint (formerly Purepac) P039. When it comes to alprazolam from India I usually get Cipla TRANAX, the best pure alp (most alprazolam in India is in combination with sertraline) in India. It is better than ALPRAX by Torrent - do not confuse with AlprOx. Any experiences? Also looking for quality report on another brand I have been offered, PEX-2. Thank you folks. ## My name is Anna and I have stage 4 cancer and my doctor does not give me enough. How could I get them to properly prescribe me refills? ## Only CLONOTRIL by Torrent and RIVOTRIL, Roche licenced, made by Abbott India, are worth buying. I once had ONAPIL by Cyril and they are as bad as Pakistani clonazepam... ## Ive had the 1mg alprax xanax from india...

What is a green pill with LU on one side and 602 on the other? ## I think that the imprint should actually read LU G02 where the G kind of looks like a 6 and the 0 is more like a solid cutout (NDC 68180-0468). Check out the image on the Lupin Pharma product page for Lovastatin 20 mg, which is a cholesterol lowering drug. Does the image match what you found? Inactive Ingredients: - Anhydrous Lactose - Butylated Hydroxyanisole - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - D&c Yellow No. 10 - Fd&c Blue No. 2 - Lactose Monohydrate - Magnesium Stearate - Starch, Pregelatinized Corn ## I located a couple pills with LU on them. One says LU D01 and it's green. This is Sertraline 25 mg, which is an antidepressant of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) class. I also located another pi...

pale yellow capsule with D on top half and 03 on bottom half. ## what kind of pill is this pale yellow d/03 ## So far the closest thing which I am finding is an oblong yellow tablet with L | U on one side and D03 on the other. Although it does not sound like what you have I can post that the one which I am referring to is Sertraline 100 mg (an anti-depressant). Can you please post back with additional details, such as manufacturer, packaging, country of origin, etc? I am trying to rule out if this could be an over the counter medication, or a drug from outside the United States. ## I received the same pills it is suppose to be Neurontin® (gabapentin) Capsules, but if it is that it is not working. it's working for me real well but it just don't last as long as I've been taking it for so long ## Hello, Timmy! How are you? Xanax is a benzodiazepine that carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. That said, have you ever considered coupling it with another medication to see if it helps keep it under control longer? Sertraline and Prozac are both SSRI antidepressants that help with anxiety. Their typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth, as listed by the FDA. It's an option you could discuss with your doctor.

Im on quetiapine MR 700mgs a day i also take sertraline 100mgs a day , tramadol 200mgs daily , depakote 1000mgs daily, and zolpidem 10mgs at night , my doctor is thinking about putting me on mirtazapine 45mgs daily i wanted to know if this is safe with all my other meds i have mentioned ? ## Many of the medications you've listed can affect serotonin levels, so adding another one creates the risk of your developing serotonin syndrome, which can be dangerous. It's not that they can't be combined, but it must be done very carefully, with the doses taken under careful consideration and the patient being regularly monitored. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Mirtazapine as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood swings and weight gain. Are you seei...
