what does the 50 mg trazodone tablet look like? ## Trazodone is a generic for the antidepresssant Desyrel, that said, I cannot possibly describe what they all look like. Once a medication is available for generic production, it can be made by many different manufacturers and each tablet must have a unique imprint code on it to enable identification of manufacturer, active ingredient and dosage. Can you post back with the imprint from tablet, so I can look it up for you?

I need to stop taking Trazodone prior to having a myleogram. I have to go three nights without it and I am very worried about withdrawal symptoms and lack of sleep. I have a pacemaker, high blood pressure, and a rare blood disorder called PNH. I recently ran out of Gabapentin and had severe withdrawal. I thought I going to die! BP went to 180/111, heart rate was erratic going from 38 bpm to 125 then back to my 100% paced rate of 60 over and over for hours. Because most of the top rated anxiety drugs are the ones with benzo, like xanax and vallium, but those are habit forming. ## Some of the antidepressants have been successfully used to treat anxiety and are much less habit forming. You may want to look into something like BuSpar: Or Paroxetine: Have you spoken to your doctor about alternatives, yet? ## Benadryl is an antianxiety or, if you want to try the herbal route valarian root works well for a lot of people. Or, if you are in a place where it's legal (??) marijuana is also really good for anxiety. Some prescription non Benzodiazepines (like Xanax and Vallium) that help with anxiety that I have taken are Trazodone, Neurontin, Tegratol and some antidepressants are also sometimes prescribed for anxiety.
