What Does Alprazolam Taste Like

I have .25mg. But they taste like baby aspirin. ## Hello, According to several comments I'm seeing regarding its taste, alprazolam is frequently described as being very "bitter". However I think a lot of the taste attributes you find in a pill may vary depending upon the types of binders/fillers used throughout different manufacturers as well. Having said that, if you're trying to identify a pill based on taste alone, it seems to me like it would also be a good idea to have it analyzed by a lab just to be on the safe side. I hve been on 1mg alprazolam for 20 years. They have always been blue. Just got a perscription and was green. It does not have the same effect. I have r039 yellow xanax 2mg bars and they do not taste bitter like the white greenstone ones. The taste is not completely bad. Also the g3722 do not do much for me besides getting me sleepy. However these yellow ones do make me feel better but the best ones are Pfizer Xanax, these yellow ones are somewhat sweet in taste. The taste is all that matters. If it tastes bitter after sitting on your tongue, I mean reallllllly nasty bitter, it's real. Also, on the real ones the "g" is more octagonal and the counterfeits are more like this "G". ## You shouldn't have to worry about a fake pill when you're obtaining your medication legitimately through a real pharmacy. A white rectangular pill marked with "G 372 2" (the G being octagonal as Jake mentioned), is in fact a real 2mg Alprazolam tablet manufactured by Greenstone, with a National Drug Code of 59762-3722. I posted about some G3722 potential fake xanax. They don't break on the lines at all and taste less bitter and a bit like soap. I have recently refilled my prescription and it with Bright Yellow Xanax Bars with the imprint of R039 on them BUT they just don't seem right! I have never seen a xanax 2mg bar that was as bright yellow as these and they don't taste right either! Xanax has a very distinctive taste to them no matter what brand they might be or wether they are generic or not! I got alprazolam from a friend, and I believe they aren't real. Most yellow 2mg alprazolam I have gotten in the past has had the imprint "R 039" and not "P 039" Does anyone know if these are fake? I live in brooklyn ny...bought some 2mg 3722 bars that seem to crumble easily and WILL NOT break on the lines. I have a few white 2mg bars scored on both sides and one side has a fancy R and then 039 on one side and is just scored with nothing written on the other side. This particular pill had different side effects vs every other xanax I have been prescribed. I have been taking alprazolam for approximately 27 years. The generic my system seemed be able to handle the best was Sandoz. It was mainly because of the ingredients that were in other generics that I was not able to take different brands. I'm very hyper sensitive to a lot of chemical fillers. I have not had a problem with Sandoz until my last refill which was approximately 4 months ago. I have been on this medication for many years and I only take it when I feel it's necessary.
