Ive been prescribed Wellbutrin xl 150 once daily for perimenapausal symptoms, mainly severe hot flashes. Today is my 11th day. Can anyone tell me please how long I should give this dose. To date I don't see that its helped. What are the affects of combining Welbutrin xl 300 and Deplin 15? I've been on Welbutrin for more than 10 years. Recently went to the doctor complaining of lack of focus, concentration and memory loss. She prescribed the Deplin to take with the Welbutrin. After one dose I feel agitated and irritable. I couldn't find anywhere when I researched that Deplin helps with concentration and focus. Everything I read says it helps depression by boosting the antidepressant you're on. Has anyone else taken Wellbutrin XL, and if so, how would you describe your experience? ## I am trying to figure out how to get off of the Wellbutrin xl 15o mg. i take 1 per day in the morning. It is making me throw up. I am going to start splitting it in half for a week. My pharmacists gave me teva buproprion Xl 150 which stayed on the market after the 300mg dose was withdrawn. It has a different absorption profile than the brand name and I'm wary of it. I have been prescribed Wellbutrin XL 150mg/day for depression in addition to Lexapro (that I have been on for over 15 years 20mg). I feel kind of out of it, and I don't like it. Valeant will no longer allow coupon usage in California. I use to get the brand Wellbutrin XL 150 for $5, but as of January 2018, AB265 passed. It prohibits pharmaceutical drug coupons in California with 5 exceptions to the bill. One exception in particular (C) The individual has completed any applicable step therapy or prior authorization requirements for the branded prescription drug, applies to my situation. But, Valeant is not willing to comply with the exception. I called the company on 3 separate occasions and they said they absolutely will not allow usage of their coupon in California. I even gave them the Assembly Bill 265 information regarding the exceptions, but they were not going to look in to it. Anyone taking Pamelor and welbutrin together ## Yes I am taking Pamelor 50mg with Wellbutrin 150mg, it seems to work but i still have my ups and downs. Dr going to check on me to see if she needs to up the dosage. Everyone says that it's a bad combo, I do not believe that or else my dr wouldn't have prescribed it to me. ## The NIH does warn that there is a risk of seizures, when you combine Amitriptyline, and Wellbutrin, since both can lower your seizure threshold, so they should only be taken together, with a doctor's approval, and regular monitoring. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, and mood changes. If you have a history of experiencing seizures, you should consult your doctor about trying other options. I am moving from Effexor XR to wellbutrin xl because of severe weight gain. I have been trying to wean myself off to start the new medicine but I can't side the moodiness. I have been on Wellbutrin for a month and a half. My doctor started me with the regular release bupropion 75mg twice a day and then three weeks ago changed it to Wellbutrin XL (generic) and it has been great for those three weeks. Little anxiety and very productive and motivated again. However the past two days I have started to feel in a slump again. I find it hard to keep myself doing these things I've started doing while on my motivational spree. I started taking 150 mg of Wellbutrin xl for anxiety. My first two days were tough with increased symptoms, which the pharmacist had already warned me of. The horrible side effects got less and less as the days progressed. By day 8 I was feeling great, anxiety was still lingering, not as bad. On day 13, I started the 300 mg, that was 7 days ago. I take it every morning at 8am. I am feeling good in the morning and every day around 1pm I start feeling horrible. Suddenly I am feeling drugged, dizzy, nauseous and disoriented. I have been tapering off Zoloft 100mg and switching to generic Wellbutrin XL 300mg. I gradually went off the Zoloft over a two week period and then started the Wellbutrin XL and I am having bad mood changes and I cry almost everyday. I am prescribed wellbutrin 150 my XL. First month took 1 tab once a day. Got my period. Month two: I took tab every other day because of the other side effects (almost all of them except for seizures and other really serious one... even had a metallic taste in my mouth)... got my period. Following month I took one tab every day ... no period... I had to start taking birth control so i could "manipulate" my period ( romantic get away). This month taking the one tab daily ... now I am 4 days late. Took a pregnancy test ($ 4 Walmart brand) day after missed period... got a negative. I started a suboxone program 6 weeks ago. My level dose is 8mg films/tid. I also take adderall ir 15mg/tid (that was prescribed by my psychiatrist, years ago).
