Watson Bupropion
21 Topics FoundFeedback about Watson Bupropion XL ## is Watson bupropion XL better than other brands? ## While Watson is generally sought out to be one of the more commonly known brands it doesn't necessarily mean that it is better than some others out there. Certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand, are actually detrimental to how the drug is metabolized and used by your body. Because everyone is different, your body may agree with one medication over the other, due to how you feel or based on whatever side effects present themselves. When you switch brand names, the drug itself doesn't change, but rather the ingredients or fillers that they put with it. I hope this helps! ## There is really no way to say that one from any manufacturer is better than...
WPI 3332 ## Just to clarify, the pill in description is Bupropion hydrochloride XL (300 mg) To view information about this drug, please click on the link below... Do you have any more questions or information to add? Please post back if you do.
Round Pill (small) imprinted with WPI3332. Supposedly Bupropion XL 300mg but it seems much smaller than it should be. ## I just received a prescription of Bupropion XL, and it looks totally different that what I've received for the same medication and strength in the past (I use Aetna RX by mail). In the past it has been a capsule, and now it is a tablet with the same lettering you describe WPI 3332. Very unusual for there to be such a dramatic change and nothing by way of explanation. I called pharmacy and was told that the pharmacy had started using a different manufacturer for the generic and that more than one manufacturer often manufactures a generic drug once the patent runs out. WATSON LAB is the manufacturer of Bupropion WP! 3332. I think it's always good to question thi...
I've been taking Watson bupropion 150 XL (first 2 daily, then increased to 3 daily) for many years. I found all the other generics ineffective or worse.( I took brand before generics were approved). When the FDA declared testing showed Watson 300 XL and two other generics were not found to be bioequivalent to brand, Watson "voluntarily" withdrew the 300 XL. Evidently the 150 XL was also taken off the market, because it cannot be found anywhere, either in mail order or retail pharmacies. Does Watson's Acquisition of Actavis mean the Actavis buproprion is Watson's formula or Actavis'? I'd be interested in more feedback here on the Actavis generic and the Par that I'm now taking, which for me is the equivalent of taking absolutely nothing. I've been so s...
Filed under BupropionAnother problem with generic not feeling my normal self as with Watson mfg. After two weeks I'm irritable moody cry easily and problems sleeping...don't dare to be sociable. Same problems as the generic Sunco... Why aren't these regulated better? This is my life. ## Hello, Laura! How are you? Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand, in the amount of the active ingredient, by as much as plus or minus 20%. However, they do not have to measure against each other, only against the name brand. This was done to help bring generics to market faster, in hopes of keeping prices lower. The FDA considers this an acceptable therapeutic window and, for most people, it doesn't cause a problem. But some people are sensitive to medications ...
Last month (Feb 2014) my pharmacy filled my prescription for bupropion hcl sr 200mg with product made by actavis. It was an oval yellow pill. I felt dramatically better, and was looking forward to continuing to use the same product. Now it is apparently no longer available because Activis was bought by Watson. My new prescription is a round white tablet with wpi 3335 written on it. Has anyone else had experience with this particular product? Has anyone found success with any other version of this product. It is very frustrating to have so much inconsistancy from one bottle of medication to the next. (Global Pharmaceuticals was so bad that I changed pharmacies to get a better product.) ## Have you tried talking to your pharmacist about the problem? They may be able to order in the one th...
Hello! I recently was switched to the the Sun Pharma version of my Bupropion SR and wanted to know if anyone has experiened or heard of trouble with them. So far, they seem to be doing the job, but I recently have developed some upper (not stomach) abdominal pain which cannot be really pinpointed to anything. (Closest so far is a pinched nerve round the rib cage) Until recently I hadn't really concidered if the switch in medicine could be the reason. Any feedback on this brand's version of Wellbutrin? As a sidenote, I had been taking the Watson version(WPI 839)for about 2 -3 years with no problems, and previously had an extremely poor reaction to Teva (an extreme crash). I've never been lucky enough to afford the read deal so cannot offer any comparisons with that. ## Hello,...
CIPLA got approval from the FDA to produce their generic version of Wellbutrin XL on August 30, 2016. I have made an inquiry to CIPLA as to whether their approval also means that they met the bioequivalence testing that other generic manufacturers had to comply with after Teva/Impax was pulled off the market in Sept. 2012 -- and Actavis (now owned by Watson) was removed Oct. 2013. [Second Generic Version of Popular Antidepressant to be Pulled from Market for Bioequivalency Issues]. Not sure if they have this problem corrected. Anyone know about Cipla or Watson/Actavis? ## For anyone else who may be wanting to contact Cipla USA regarding this concern, you can reach their customer service department by phone at: 844-CIPLA US (844-247-5287) or via email at: [email protected] Furthermore, it...
Hi - I just got a perscription for the Sun Pharma generic version of Wellbutrin SR (Bupropion HCL SR). Has anyone had success with this one? If not which generic version have you had success with? ## Whatever generic worked for someone else may not work for you and vice versa. Learn more Wellbutrin SR details here. The only way to find out what works for you is to actually try it and see. If one generic doesn't work for you, then you can consult your pharmacist to see what else is available. Have you started them yet? Have you had any problems with them? ## CVS stopped carrying the Watson generic in March and supply only Sun Pharma brand of Bupropion, which is manufactured in India and distributed in the U.S. by CARACO Pharmaceutical Labs based in Detroit. The pills I took in March ...
My perscription for bupropion SR 150mg tablets - I understand what all that means. I want to know what the SA in front of WATSON LABS means? does this mean it was made in South Africa or South America? My pharmacy has switched something and my generic used to be a purple round pill and is now a white round pill. ## The SA stands for sustained action, it's just another way of designating that it's a time released formulation of the medication. It means the same thing as the SR in your prescription, which stood for sustained release. Learn more Bupropion details here. Are there any other comments or questions?
I was taking 150 ml of Bupropion SR by Teva for several years and it has stopped working for my depression. Has anyone been happy with the other generic forms of Wellbutrin? I am now trying one from Activis but just started it yesterday. ## Your body will get used to the dosage of any medication that you take for a long period of time and it will eventually become less effective. Thus, it's really doubtful that switching manufacturers will help. It's most likely that you need a slight higher dosage to get the same benefits as you did before from this medication. Have you spoken to your doctor about it? You can read more Wellbutrin details here. ## Please let me know how the Actavis generic is working for you. I have been taking the Watson generic for 2 years and liked it. Just n...

round white number wpi 3331 made by watson labs would like specifics on safe levels what to do if missed ## Buproprion is an antidepressant that is also used to help with smoking cessation. The maximum daily dose shouldn't exceed 450mgs, taken as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you miss a tablet, you should take it as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for the next dose, in this case, skip the missed dose and take the new one, then continue with your regular dosing schedule. Are there any questions or comments? ## Can anyone tell me the difference between Buprop 24 XL and Bupropion HCL XL? ## Will it make me feel all fuzzy and warm? perferably in my crotch area? ;D
Generic for Wellbutrin 150 mg SR ## Sorry, I cannot find this listed anywhere. ## What country did you get this medicine from? Does not appear to be a U.S. brand name. ## Bupropion HCL SR manufactured by WATSO is the generic for Wellbutrin SR. Bupropion HCL ER by EONLB is another substitute. A new drug was approved a few weeks ago but I believe it is in direct competition with Wellbutrin. Regards. ## Actavissou: sold by Walmarts as a generic for Wellbutrin SR Bupropoin 150MG. Help? Can Not find where it is made..it is not WATSON asc earlier posted stated. ## I recently got Bupropion SR 2/150 mg in the morning at Walmart, Actavissou maker. I was on 300 mg in the morning, maker Watson. The Watson worked great, now on this Actavissou brand I'm a basket case. I'm worse than before I...
children found pills in a home with supervised visits- found out they were some sort of generic wellbutrin; but need to know what brand they are, the makers and any info you may have, i need to research this and cannot find a whole lot on it. The pills are white, round, words- WPI 839 on the pill. need to know the dosage on this particular pill. Thank you it would be so much help if you can find any thing on this pill. ## Here is some more info for you: The drug Bupropion is indeed the generic chemical form of Wellbutrin. It is classified as an antidepressant and is commonly used to stop smoking. The imprint WPI 839 indicates that it is the 150 mg Extended Release Tablets. Hope this helps!
