I'm normally get Watson 540 that's my Lortab 10 what is the 500? ## Lortab actually contains 2 active ingredients to relieve pain, the 10 denoted how much of the narcotic Hydrocodone it contains and the 500 denotes the dosage of Acetaminophen it contains. why take something like blue lortab and change it when it worked for choric pain is it because the drug is owned by doctors that want to keep people in pain why please tell me WHY! ## From my perspective, it's really not as complicated as it seems. The way I see it is that the pharmaceutical industry basically turns otherwise short-term pain patients into long-term customers. By keeping patient's scripts inconsistent and sometimes unreliable, they are essentially making people who are in pain feel like they "need" their services to survive. It's a total control/ego trip their on, but at the rate things are going with so many people now complaining about their meds, I doubt big pharma will stay on top for very much longer. The Watson White Generic Lortab 10-500 has been changed and they DO NOT work to relieve Pain thanks to our regulaters. I have taken the blue ones for years for chronic pain and I can say Diffinently they Do Not Work ! Go to Norco 10-525 and add childrens tylneol to get 500 mg acetiminifen and you will get the help the ue Watsons use to give. Just stop using the white ones so they will feel the decline in sales! White oblong Watson 333 on one side and a line on the other. ## What strenght is this?Watson 333 ## @Edward, The only pill I found with a marking of Watson 333 is a 1mg Lorazepam tablet, prescribed for anxiety disorders. It's also round, not oblong in shape. However there are some pain pills that are white and oblong, including Watson 388 (Hydrocodone 2.5mg + Acetaminophen 500mg) as well as Watson 853 (Hydrocodone bitartrate 10mg + Acetaminophen 325mg). Is there any chance you may have misinterpreted the imprint based on its physical condition? Hope this helps!

is the yellow pill watson 853 as strong as the blue watson 540 ## The tablet with the WATSON 853 marking contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone. The tablet with the WATSON 540 contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone. So, they both contain the same amount of the active narcotic, Hydrocodone, but they do not contain the same amount of Acetaminophen, which improves the effect of the narcotic. It contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, while the one with the WATSON 349 marking contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. They are both narcotic pain relievers, but one contains more of the narcotic than the other.
