Walgreens Wal Act

I went to my local Walgreens yesterday for Wal-Act and they just stopped selling it too. Drug dealers buy too much of this med and sell it is the reason why. Abuse. I do not abuse this medication and it is the only one that works for me. I am disappointed and am looking again for an antihistamine that works for my allergies. I thought I tried them all as well as my doctor. I hope Walgreens reconsiders this one.

I have been on pain medication for 12 years. I need methodone 10 mg #135. I can't get it without an average of 10 pharmacies. I'm luck to get it at all. Pharmacies say they won't order in advance. I live in Altamonte Springs but would travel a distance to get it. Any sugestions. ## Well, the main issue here is that there were certain laws that pharmacies in various areas of the U.S. were found to not be enforcing and the FDA and DEA are cracking down now to make them do so. They are actually only allowed to order and keep in stock a certain amount each month and many were exceeding that amount regularly and just ordering in more whenever they had a customer that needed it, or to just have it in stock. However, since there are yearly manufacturing limits, this was adding to t...

I am hearing that Walgreens is putting a 24-48 hour hold on my ADHD Medication, Adderall. Are the rumors of an Adderall shortage true? If I could afford Vyvanse I would prefer to be prescribed them, but I can't. I have been getting the generic Adderall for over two years now and I was prescribed them 20 years ago in High School. I am curious to know if it is true and why? If my date on my script is the day of fill, why would I have to wait an extra one or two days without them? ## Hello, Ryan! How are you? Have you actually been told this by someone in the Walgreen's pharmacy or is it just a rumor you've heard? I haven't heard anything about this and see no reason for them to do so, unless they have to order the medication in, or contact the doctor to ensure that it'...

Has anyone else gotten weak a214's from cotati walgreens? ## Just because it may seem weak to you doesn't necessarily mean it's a fake medication. There can be fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient, so if you haven't taken this one before, it may just have slightly less of it than the ones you were used to taking. Or, it could be that you've built up a tolerance to this dosage, so it doesn't work as well for you and you may need a higher dosage, or a different medication. Have you taken these same tables before? And if so, for how long? If anyone isn't familiar with it, there are more Oxycodone details available here. ## Thanks for your reply, I have 13 yrs on these meds, I thought I was losing it because they weren't work and wrote it off t...

I have read all the posts and found that the best way i found is on the 29th of aug i talked to the pharmacy manager and explained the dilemma i was facing and she told me just to transfer all my other scripts to her location and then drop off my oxy script and methadone and that they would order them for me if they were out.Bam ten days later i got a call yesterday that they had my script filled and to come pick them up.Hope this helps those having problems getting their meds filled.Good luck and god bless. ## That was actually a very good idea, because pharmacies are usually allowed to be more lenient and helpful to their regular customers, so by transferring all of your prescriptions to them, you basically made yourself a regular customer. I too had my RX medication refilled (again) at Walgreens, but this time (When I did not take my RX Tylenol with it, like I always do) I noticed, that I have been given a different Brand of medication (A Generic Brand/MFG by-ACTAVIS). My "Norco-Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 5-325/TB" did not work as prescribed or even when I took 3 pills at one time (because 1 nor 2 pills didn't work/relieve my pain). I believe I have been given FAKE NORCO/Hydrocodone pills (white/#2172 on them) from Walgreens Pharmacy. Today I contacted the DEA & FDA via email and requested that they investigate my complaint as soon as possible. ## Hi Lisa, Sorry to hear about your experience with these new 2172 hydrocodone/acetaminophen tabs. There are actually several discussion threads here on MedsChat co...

Walgreens switched my Watson Percocet 10/325 to Alvogen. WHAT a stomach ache!! They are counterproductive! And doesn't help relieve pain at all! And I can't sleep with this stomach ache. What is in the binder , Cement?? And my stomach has always been sensitive to the Advil. seems this pharmaceutical company has no interest but money! I'm filling a complaint with the FDA! ## What are the markings on the tablets that are causing your problems? Sometimes the manufacturer listed on the label is just a licensed distributor and not the actual manufacturer. Can you please post back and clarify, so I can research this for you? The FDA warns that Percocet carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mo...

I thought this might be of interest: Walgreens Agrees to Pay a Record Settlement of $80 Million for Civil Penalties under the Controlled Substances Act- "Walgreens' alleged failure to sufficiently report suspicious orders was a systematic practice that resulted in at least tens of thousands of violations and allowed Walgreens' retail pharmacies to order and receive at least three times the Florida average for drugs such as oxycodone." Source: justice.gov/dea/divisions/mia/2013/mia061113.shtml ## Thanks for taking the time to share this bit of info with us. Just need to know is subutex a triplicate prescription, can it be refilled in a different state? ## Hello, Susan! How are you? No, according to current regulations, you actually have to physically see your doctor and take a written prescription to the pharmacy. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Anyone on workmens comp. can get there medications mailed to your door by IWP (INJURED WORKERS PHARMACY) new meds get mailed overnight. Walgreens won't fill my percription of 180 , 8 mg hydromorphone without contacting doctor to get a code to fill is this true my doctors office was closed so I have to try again tomorrow ## I am also on 8mg of Hydromorphone and have my Rx's filled regularly at Walgreens. The max perscribbed dose of this medication is 4x/day which comes to a monthly script total of 120 tablets. My thoughts are that a special code is needed/required by law for your script due to the fact that your doctor is perscribbing more than the maximum allowed dosage for this medication. ## The maximum prescribed doses per day can actually be 6 doses, since it can be taken every 4 hours, if needed that often. However, this really has to do with the new dispensing laws that are being enforced. Many pharmacies ...

after i quit using teva quinpril pill and was placed on another generic brand my blood pressure started going up and down and my heart felt extremely tired. I only wish I knew where to go to get the long brown blood pressure pill from teva. Please answer me. Is the pill acturally off market? ## I don't see anything listed about Teva discontinuing this product on the FDA site that usually reports such information. Have you tried asking the pharmacy if they can order it in for you? Another question is how long have you been taking it? If you've been on the same dosage for a long period of time, your body may have just gotten used to it and you may require a dosage adjustment.

little round white pill 93 848 ## Yep, this is a store brand or generic version of Actifed, manufactured by Lemmon and listed as a cold remedy, so the name you will find it under in various stores will differ. It contains Triprolidine 2.5mgs and Pseudoephedrine 60mgs. So it treats both cold and allergy symptoms. Here's some more information if you need it: Actifed Info Click Here ## Walgreens in the beautiful Garden State of New Jersey carries WalAct D, which has the same ingredients as the original Actifed. I am heading out to the Walgreens in East Windsor, on Princeton-Hightstown Road. 609-448-3729. The pharmacist mentioned that they carry several varieties of actifed, and she specifically said that WalAct D is the one I am looking for. Good luck to all the actifed people. it only...

I know they took actifed off the market but I need it it's absolutely the ONLY thing that works for me during my horrific allergy season from April til mid July there has not been ONE day of relief yet except for the fact I have 3 expired actifed left and took one and felt amazing so basically I suffer each and every day for 90 or more days straight. If you can help with telling me something that will actually work I would greatly appreciate it!! Thank you all in advance! ## Walgreens sells it under the name Wal Act

I been taking buprenorphine nalox 8mg 2mg white round tabs logo halfmoon and 155 on the other. I have always gotten them at walgreens. Just this month they stopped taking my insurance and I had to switch to CVS. I went in to fill in my script today for the first time at CVS since I have always gone to walgreens. When I went to cvs to pick them up I noticed they were different these are round orange pill with AN 415 on the front. The problem is these are not working for me hardly at all like the white ones did. And idk what to do. So I'm just wondering whether they are they same and why these orange ones aren't working for me when they white activis ones did. I think manufacture of these orange ones are zubsolv for that's what the bottle says. I'm also wondering if this m...

Hi there, Who among us was getting generic percocet by actavis mfr up until walgreens switched to Camber mfr. (RECENTLY) Well...here,s my question....We were getting generic actavis and for many of us, it helped us. I think all of us have heard that a "BRAND NAME" Holds it's patton for 20 years? Then, it goes generic..RIGHT? Well, I have been told by numerous places that the "GENERIC ACTAVIS PERC" went to a "BRAND NAME" How in the world does that happen??? How can a generic suddenly go to a brand name that insurance will not cover? Think about that.... ## The patent is held for 18 years, but there can be some exceptions that allow for additional time, or for a generic to come to market sooner. And no, a generic does not become a name brand, a generic stays a ...

Whatever these pills are, they are hands down the worst... They have zero effect on my cancer pain zilch.. Then I run into a online actavis recall of oxycodone. What the hell is going on? I was taking kvk tech K8 and wow the pain was long gone within 20-30 min and lasted a lot longer. However, here in Florida they are no where to be found. I need help. The docs that prescribe can't do anything. Walgreens are pretty much like hey that's all your getting. I hate even picking the damn things up period, it's like a sleeping pill? Does anyone have any insight please?? I'm hoping and praying I can go to ERs. I was getting 120 now cut back to 90 and let me tell you they just do not work. Was taking BRAND percocet - the only true percocet (pinkish oblong pill that says "percocet") but it was horribly expensive: over $1,000 for 90 pills (one month). My insurance was paying at first but then when I switched insurers, no more, they only pay for generic. After that, I went thru the gamut of generics until now - it seems that Activis has taken over the supplies of percocet at every major pharmacy - Walgreens, Walmart, CVS, etc and that is ALL we can get. For me Activis is a nightmare. I suffer from post-laminectomy syndrome and Activis lasts barely an hour before I need another for break-thru pain. Also, side effects are head ache, insomnia, and occasional upset stomach. The pain reliever active ingredient in Activis is clearly substandard, but what are we to do - who do

ive been on watson oxy/apap 10/325 for years, and they have always worked wonderfully. last month it was changed to actavis and it feels as if i'm taking HALF THE DOSE! it's HORRIBLE, and not only does it NOT work, it looks just like a tylenol or a norco; white and oblong. my sweet walgreens pharmacist called EVERY pharmacy in my town asking if they carry any watson brand percocet and they have ALL HAVE BEEN REPLACED by this crap brand. i've tried endocet, which is even worse... so now i'm on the hunt to search the town over for any remaining watson. my straight oxy has been changed to KVK brand, and it's nothing like watson, but it isn't completely worthless. i'm so glad i came on here because i really thought it was just me. i thought 'how could i possi...

On 4/12/17, I received my monthly script of Oxycodone from Walgreens, from Mfg. Actavis as Oxycodone/Acetaminophen 10-325MG TB. The medication did not dull my pain as usual, but continued to use and began to feel very ill, vomiting and having diarrhea, ending up in the hospital for four days, during which I lost all my strength and needed Physical Therapy for three months and I am still having to use a walker. There was never a diagnosis of the cause of my hospitalization, but now I know that after I had not used the medication for a period of three months and now needed pain relief again, that after ll days of use, I was experiencing the same thing that had put me in the hospital in the first place, the Actavis Oxycodone! There is a problem with Actavis and they should be investigated....
