Vyvanse Taste

Do 50mg vyvanse taste like sugar? ## It's probably too late but anyways... they do/did make 70mg vyvance my brother was prescribed these back in late 2014 ## As for the taste I'm curious. I have two kinds of vyvanse...one is 30mg and the other is 50mg. Now i want to know if they are real cuz the powder inside isn't bitter. In fact its bittersweet. Not overly sweet. I've had vynanse many times. But i forgot the taste. Anybody know the real taste of vyvanse? ## From what I could gather, legitimate Vyvanse is reported by many patients as being "bitter", and in some cases might even leave a bad metallic taste in the mouth. However, when certain inactive ingredients are present, I hear that it may actually come off as being sweet. Does anyone else find this to be true as well? I have taken the drug vyvanse a few times and every single time my tongue tastes like blood and I spit up small amounts of blood. I wanted to see if this drug was the cause of these symptoms so I waited a few days to see if there was a pattern. The blood spitting went away after a few days and everything cleared up. As soon as I took the pill again everything came back quickly and exactly the same symptoms. Also my entire tongue muscle turns gray until the drug wears off. I don't mean that it has a grey coating I mean the tongue muscle is grey. Obviously I know to stop taking this drug immediately but I am more worried that these rare side effects are any indication that I have another underlying issue possibly with my esophagus. I have been taking Adderall for many years and I've never noticed a smell or taste. However, my most recent Rx (same generic manufacturer as normal, Mallinckrodt) has a *very* strong smell, like a multi-vitamin, and terribly disgusting taste. I even took it back into the pharmacy to make sure I wasn't losing my mind, she agreed but couldn't figure out why. They are the white, Dextroamp-Amphetamin 15 mg tab. it was a tiny blue and white pill with white powder inside was supposivley a stronger version of adderal. 50 mg a pill no taste ## Well, first of all, I can tell you that there IS NO 50mg of Adderall on the U.S. market, the max dose is only 30mgs. From just this description, I cannot tell you what it was that you had. It is the imprint that tells what it is and the dosage it contains, not the colors.
