Vyvanse Capsule Powder

I have two kinds of vyvanse...one is 30mg and the other is 50mg. Now i want to know if they are real cuz the powder inside isn't bitter. In fact its bittersweet. Not overly sweet. I've had vynanse many times. But i forgot the taste. Anybody know the real taste of vyvanse? ## From what I could gather, legitimate Vyvanse is reported by many patients as being "bitter", and in some cases might even leave a bad metallic taste in the mouth. However, when certain inactive ingredients are present, I hear that it may actually come off as being sweet. Does anyone else find this to be true as well? it was a tiny blue and white pill with white powder inside was supposivley a stronger version of adderal. 50 mg a pill no taste ## Well, first of all, I can tell you that there IS NO 50mg of Adderall on the U.S. market, the max dose is only 30mgs. From just this description, I cannot tell you what it was that you had. It is the imprint that tells what it is and the dosage it contains, not the colors. I found a zip lock bag with blue and white capsules in it with white powder inside and no kind of markings. ive read other posts about kinds of pills like this and they have said that it is oxycodone. I have never seen no kind of pills like that with no markings on it. HELP ME PLEAASE!! ## No need to panic, they are most likely something that's available over the counter. They are not required to have markings and there are many on the market that don't. That rules them out as being Oxycodone, but they could be any one of a very large number of OTC supplements or medications. The best thing to do would just to properly dispose of them. My 15 year old son has been on some form of stimulants since he was in the 1st grade. He is currently on 70 mg vyvanse. We are trying to get him off of it, but he is having really bad withdrawals so much that it interfering with his school work. Should we try giving him 30mg or is that too low a dose after 50. Any suggestions? ## Tapper him down, if you have the capsules an hes on 70mg's, start by cutting the capsule in half and power the powder on the table, now split it into 7ths and give him 6/7ths of it for 3 days then after those 3 days give him 5/7ths and etc... ## Have you consulted his doctor for assistance? Should the capsules have beads or powder in it? A friend had gotten a red and blue capsule and it had powder in it. I think it was 7mg. Not sure. But there was also a 30mg that had beads in it.
